You should have experience in all five process groups across all your
project management experience submitted on the application.
The unique project manager roles and responsibilities performed for each
project should be entered in the project experience section of the
application.
When composing the project descriptions for each project, make good
use of PMI terms to demonstrate that you understand what project
management is.
Include terms found in the PMBOK® Guide like project charter, sponsor,
scope, project deliverables, stakeholders, schedule, acceptance of
deliverables, quality management, etc. in your description.
Make sure that you give your experience relevant to project
management. Do not include your non-project management activities
here, as doing so may cause suspicion.
Important Guidelines
Show little over a minimum of 4,500 hours or 7,500 hours of project work
experience. No need to show too much experience
While filling the Application Excel Sheet, refer to the examples given in
each domain and write your experience according to it
Avoid the words like coordinated, assisted etc, be specific that you have
lead and directed the projects
Use abbreviation for domains – IN, PL, EX, MC, CL before giving the
experience in each domain.
Avoid technical terms and the terms used in your organization specific to
the projects. Focus on PMBOK terms
