KVPY Syllabus 2017 is prescribed by the exam conducting authority for SA, SB and SX stream.
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana or KVPY 2017 is a national fellowship programme managed by
the Indian Institute of Science. KVPY was started by the Department of Science and Technology,
Government of India, to encourage the students to take up research careers in Basis Science. The
aptitude test will be held in the first week of November 2017. In this article, we are updating the

KVPY Syllabus 2017

The syllabus will be comprises of four Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology. There is
no prescribed syllabus for the aptitude test. The syllabus will contain the topics & chapter of the Class
10th/11th/12th/1st year of B.Sc/BS/B.Stat./B.Math./Int.M.Sc/MS.

Stream SA Syllabus:
The syllabus of KVPY exam for Stream SA covers all the topics & chapters of Class X & XI. The
syllabus of Stream A is given here:

Physics: Magnetic Effects of Current, Sources of Energy, Reflection, Refraction,

Electromagnetic Induction, Applications in Daily Life, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and
Power, Physical World and Measurement, Gravitation, Thermodynamics.
