Hach®’s NX7500 scanning UV probe provides you with a high level of confidence in your process by
alerting you to high nitrite concentrations before your process is affected.

Continuous monitoring of nitrite gives you an accurate and
complete picture of your process, allowing you to make rapid
and data-driven decisions. With short measurement intervals
along a full UV spectrum, you’ll get more results faster - keeping
you one step ahead of rising nitrite concentrations negatively
impacting your process.
The measuring method does not require any reagents or
sample preparation. With the probe submerged in the water,
the nano-coated measuring windows are automatically
cleaned to prevent fouling of the optical path that can diminish
accuracy.

NX7500 Multi-parameter scanning UV probe 3

Principle of Operation
The probe uses a xenon flash lamp as a broadband light source. The light goes through the optical path in the medium, and the medium
absorbs some light. The spectrometer records the remaining, spectrally resolved light and determines the intensity at different wavelengths
in a wavelength range.
