young people to engage in learning that is both relevant and transferable to
their lives. This is largely an information giving event, delivered in an engaging,

who take part.

Typically run over half a day, with a group of around 100 young people, these
events are extremely popular, and a great way to introduce young people to the
staff and services of Brook, as well as a variety of our partnership agencies.

adapted to follow emerging trends and reflect the ever changing needs of
the young people with whom we work.

The Future Focus programme is designed to be reflective, and challenges young

people to think about their actions and the consequences these may have. The
programme uses innovative board games and activities that encourage young
people to learn through participation.

and self-esteem.

In the long term, Future Focus programmes result in young people who are more likely to
take responsibility for themselves and others, who are informed, who feel free to ask
questions and who know what they value about relationships.

The programme is delivered across 5 full days and will take place within your setting.

Alongside this programme we deliver our Open Awards Accreditation Level 1 Award
‘Skills for Further Learning and Employment’. Each student will be
given the opportunity to gain their qualification and develop their own interpersonal
skills, confidence and build upon healthy lifestyles.

Positive sexual development is integral to all children and young

people’s development of a positive and secure identity, self
worth and self esteem. It provides the building blocks to help
them develop into happy, healthy and responsible young
people and eventually adults. By using this tool to identify and
address unhealthy behaviour at an early age professionals
working with children and young people can help prevent
subsequent sexually harmful behaviours from developing and
keep them safe, happy and healthy
