Goldilocks Puppet Script
Narrator: Once upon a time there was a little girl named Goldilocks because of her beautiful golden curls. Goldilocks loved to
play. She also loved to run into the woods to gather wild flowers, or to chase butterflies through the open fields. One day
Goldilocks was in the woods and got lost. She came upon a little house. Goldilocks knocked on the door.
Goldilocks: Hello! Is anyone home?
Narrator: No one answered. Goldilocks went inside.
Goldilocks: What's this? Whoever lives here must have gone out for a walk. This porridge looks good.
Narrator: Goldilocks took a taste of the large sized bowl of porridge.
Goldilocks: Too hot.
Narrator: Goldilocks took a taste of the medium size bowl.
Goldilocks: Too cold.
Narrator: Goldilocks then took a taste of the small sized bowl.
Goldilocks: Just right.
Narrator: Goldilocks ate all the porridge in the small sized bowl. After eating the porridge Goldilocks decided to look around the
house. She found three chairs. Goldilocks sat in the large sized chair.
Goldilocks: Too hard.
Narrator: Goldilocks sat in the medium sized chair.
Goldilocks: Too soft.
Narrator: Goldilocks sat in the small sized chair.
Goldilocks: Just right.
Narrator: Goldilocks sat there for a few moments when all of a sudden the chair broke.
Goldilocks: Ouch! Oops!
Narrator: Goldilocks became very tired and decided to head upstairs to find a bed to take a nap. Upstairs Goldilocks found a
large sized bed. She tried to climb on the bed.
Goldilocks: Too high.
Narrator: Goldilocks then went over to the medium sized bed.
Goldilocks: Still too high.
Narrator: Goldilocks went to the small sized bed.
Goldilocks: Just right.
Narrator: Goldilocks fell fast asleep. While Goldilocks was sleeping the three bears that lived in the house came home from their
walk and went into the kitchen to eat their porridge.
Daddy Bear: : Someone's been eating my porridge!
Mummy Bear: : Someone's been eating my porridge, too!
Baby Bear: : Someone's been eating my porridge and they ate it all up!
Narrator: The three bears went to look around to find the creature that was in their house. They went into the living room.
Daddy Bear: : Someone's been sitting in my chair!
Mummy Bear: : Someone's been sitting in my chair, too!
Baby Bear: : Someone's been sitting in my chair and broke it!
Narrator: Then the three bears heard some snoring coming from upstairs. The three bears went upstairs.
Daddy Bear: : Someone's been sleeping in my bed!
Mummy Bear: : Someone's been sleeping in my bed, too!
Baby Bear: : Someone's been sleeping in my bed and she's still there!
Narrator: At that Goldilocks woke up and looked at the bears.
Goldilocks: AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!
Narrator: Goldilocks jumped up and ran out of the house as fast as she could. She ran all the way home. And Goldilocks never
ran into the woods again.
