PERSONAL STATEMENT

Enthusiastic. Effective. Passionate. I am a new teacher working towards continual development of my


teaching practice to improve the outcome for all my students. Proficient abilities in: monitoring and
improving student progress, developing safe and inclusive learning environments, differentiating my classes
and effective behaviour management. I enjoy working in teams to share and improve knowledge of all
within an education setting. Identified leader who looks to bring these skills and attributes into an education
setting.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Front-End Supervisor: At my part-time job I am a front-end supervisor. In this role I am required to manage
both staff, customers and store operations. I have been able to develop my leadership, communication
and time management skills.

Identified Budding Leader: Crafer’s Netball Club identified me as a Budding Leader within our community
club. As a part of this identification I undertook a budding leaders course leading to my continuing role as
Junior Coach, General Committee Member and soon to be Junior Representative.

Internship Program: For my final University placement, I was selected as an intern. This program allowed me
to be involved in a school community for the 2018 school year. As part of this role I was able to teach for an
extended period of time, be involved in cross-curricular programs, and develop and conduct a project
within the school.
