Note to the educator

Y

Do you have any students who have lost a parent? It is possible that you don’t even know. Try
to find out if any of your students are fatherless or have lost a mother. There is no need to tell
the student(s) once you find out, but begin to pray for their hearts, their home life and their
relaGonship with God. He is the Father to the fatherless. Make special effort to be loving to
these children for their lives are much more tender with such a great loss. Consider adopGng
A

one of them academically by checking in with them a liLle more oMen than you would with
other students just to see how they are doing with their grades. Become his/her official mentor
and be God’s agent and protector this year for some of the weaker among our children.
