Strategic Management a major course of Evening MBA program, University of Dhaka. It is our

Though this term paper, we highlighted different aspects of types of strategies. To prepare, we
have given our best effort despite some limitations.

Executive Summary

This study covered different types of strategies including corporate level, Business unit level, and
Functional or departmental level. This report also contains Michael Porter’s Competitive
Strategy. All the strategies elaborated with figures and different organizational perspective.

Strategies are very important for any organization. Mainly secondary source has been used to
complete this report. Each business has a unique culture and distinctive characteristics. Its
approach to marketing, sales, customer acquisition and other key aspects will reflect its values. We
tried to focus on these thing and make it fruitful for organizations.

We acquire knowledge about various types of strategically formation concept. How these concept
used in organizations in Bangladesh and also in worldwide. In the end we try to give some
recommendation, which way these theories could improve the process.
