HIGHEST YIELD AND ULTIMATE FLEXIBILITY
INVERTER SHP PEAK1

Tremendous power density with 75 kW at only 77 kg allows

flexible planning of large PV plants in steps of 75 kW
• Scalable / distributed central inverter in 75kW steps provides highest
flexibility in PV plant design as „off the shelf building blocks“
• High power of the inverter (75kW) with a peak efficiency of 98,8%
reduces amount of inverters to be installed in the plant
• Independent MPPT per inverter – one DC Input leads to higher
efficiency and max. yield at partly shaded sections in commercial &
utility PV plants (compared to central inverter)

Sunny Highpower PEAK1 system combines the advantages of a string

inverter and a central inverter in one device!

Active cooling system

> SMA’s active cooling concept with speed controlled fans for long inverter
life and maximum yield over lifetime

> Fans are controlled by sensors and turn on and off according to the
temperature

> Fans are designed for the inverter life time

(The expected fan lifetime [counted in working hours] is 80.000 working
hours @40° and 40.000 working hours @70°C.)

> Fans optimizes the derating behavior at higher temperatures

> In case the cooling channel gets blocked (by foliage, wood or dust) the
fans free-blow the channel

LCS-TOOL

LCS – TOOL: General Overview

> Local Commissioning and Service Tool for Windows PC’s
> Free of charge, available on SMA’s homepage for download
> SHP 75 Inverter and Inverter Manager firmware are always part of the LCS-Tool
with the corresponding version (for instance Inverter FW 1.90 = LCS-Tool 1.90)
> Only one version can be installed on one computer. The former version (no matter if
higher or lower) will be removed automatically during the installation of the “new”
LCS-Tool
> Higher LCS-Tool versions can work with lower FW-versions on the Inverter Manager,
but not vice versa
> LCS-Tool transfers settings / information to the Inverter Manager, the Inverter
Manager distributes the FW to all connected inverters

30
