Special instructions to students:
Student should submit 3 hard copies in colour and 4 copies if company
requires a copy.
The personal copy should be carried for viva-voce examination.
Respective guide will provide the title page and print out of the title page will
be done in NERIM only.
The font used in the report has to be in Times New Roman (size12) or Arial
(size 11) and for main heading size 16 and sub-heading size 14 and has to be
in double spacing.
Student should ensure that the articulation should be in third person singular
number and use of first person singular number should be avoided.
The sample size should be adequate, representative and reliable to reflect the
attributes of the universe or population of the study.
The title of the study, objectives, analysis, findings and suggestions should
tally.
The title of the project should be submitted within 21st July’2018, with the
consultation from the organisational guide along with institutional guide.
Once the topic got finalised, the students are not allowed to change further.
The objectives and questionnaire should be submitted within 25th July’2018.
In case, more than one student doing project in the same organisation, they
should ensure that the topic chosen by the student should be different from
each other.
The student should ensure that the introduction about the subject of the study
conducted should be written in their own words as well as in terms of their
personal experiences during the course of the study.
The student should have a record of the number of hours visited to the
company and the attendance sheet from the company should be duly signed
from the organisational guide and should be submitted once they rejoin the
college.
The student, doing his/her project in Guwahati, should fill the record sheet
every time they meet the guide which will be maintained by their respective
guides.
The student, doing his/her project out of station, should update their
respective guides through email and the acknowledgement mail from their
guides is needed. The print out of both student & faculty’s acknowledgement
mail should be submitted and dully signed by student and guide once they
rejoin the college which will be attached with the record sheet and considered
as their attendance.
The minimum number of times the student should meet the guide is Ten (10)
times (From 9th July to 11th August’18).
The student is not allowed to copy the previous year projects; rather they
are allowed to take reference from them. If the college finds by any means
that the student has copied then their project will be cancelled and they
need to appear for the same next year.
The student should regularly visit the company and should be in touch with
the organisational guide/institutional guide. If any complain got from
organisational guide/ institutional guide then the college will take proper
action for the same.
