RNC Object
• The logical object of the Radio Network Controller
• It can have up to 2800 WBTS objects (requires RNC 2600)
• In the RNC object the following interfaces are defined: Iu-PS, Iu-CS & Iur
• The logical object are hierarchically related to each other, therefore it is not possible to
create any other object before RNC creation.

Detected Adjacencies (ADJD)
Intra Frequency Detected Set Reporting & Measurements:
optional features related to ADJD allow UE to report &
ADJDChangeOrigin (Change origin)
handover to cells not included in the neighbor list
ADJDId (Identifier of additional intra-frequency
adjacency) If feature RAN1191: “Detected Set Reporting (DSR) &
AdjdCI (Cell Identifier) Measurements” is enabled, specific counters (M1028 Autodef
AdjdCPICHTxPwr (Primary CPICH power) SHO DSR measurement) can be used to find detected set
cells that are reported by the UE but that are not in the ADJS
AdjdDERR (Disable Effect on Reporting Range) or ADJD adjacency lists and cannot therefore be targets of
AdjdHSDPAHopsId (HSDPA HOPS identifier) SHO. With that information the neighbor lists can be optimized
AdjdLAC (Location Area Code) to include such cells that would be good handover targets.
AdjdMCC (Mobile Country Code)
AdjdMNC (Mobile Network Code)
DSRepBasedSHO
AdjdMNCLength (Mobile Network Code Detected Set Reporting Based SHO
Length) FMCS; 0 = DSR not allowed;
AdjdNRTHopsId (NRT HOPS Identifier) 1 = DSR enabled, but SHO to detected cell not allowed
AdjdRAC (Routing Area Code)AdjdRNCId (RNC 2 = DSR based SHO enabled
Identifier)
The parameter indicates whether the DSR based SHO is enabled in the cell.
AdjdRTHopsId (RT HOPS Identifier) When the Detected Set Reporting & Measurements feature (optional) is enabled in the
AdjdRTWithHSDPAHopsId (HSDPA HOPS RNC, the parameter can have the following values::
identifier for AMR multi-service) 0: DSR is not allowed.
1: DSR is enabled but SHO to detected cell is not allowed.
AdjdScrCode (Primary Scrambling Code) When the SHO based on the Detected Set Reporting feature (optional) is enabled in
AdjdTxDiv (Tx Diversity Indicator) the RNC, the parameter can have the following values:
0: DSR is not allowed.
2: DSR based SHO is enabled.
