Mitacs Globalink Medical Insurance Policy

Mitacs purchases medical insurance for all Globalink Research Interns before their arrival. A copy of this
policy is available upon request.

Examples of coverage that Mitacs provides:

• Extended medical services, such as paramedical services
• Drug and prescription coverage
• Expenses medically recognized as emergency for pre-existing conditions
If your host university has its own mandatory health insurance plan, please “opt-out” of this plan using
your Mitacs-provided health insurance.
