INSTALL SCADA SYSTEMS AT SAOO FIELDS - Saudi Arabia

Project Scope :

The purpose of this project is to support SAUDI ARAMCO’s objective of maximizing profitability
through optimizing reservoir management to maintain Arabian Light Crude production by installing
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for crude oil wells in North and South
Ghawar Area that includes Abqaiq, Ain Dar, Shedgum and Uthmaniyah fields.

As a CIVIL SUPERITENDENT:

Planning of the Project :

1- Preparatory meeting with the Construction Manager to agree detailed program covering all
aspects of the progression of the Project before construction on site begins.
2- Allocation of specified tasks to Project Engineer.

Project under construction:

1- Discussion and proper assessment of problems encountered by staff on site.

2- Ensuring that the method of work is up to date, efficient and in accordance with Company and
Client’s safety policies and H&S requirements.

Monitoring Performance:

1- Ensuring that all of the construction and installation shall be as per planning and within
specified budget.
2- Investigation and accountability for any deviations from budget Man-hours.

Project Scope:

 Development of new WIP (Water Injection Pumping) system. New WIP system includes new
combustion gas turbines CGTs & Booster pumps at Abu Ali Plant, Jubail.
 Development of new Salt Water Disposal SWD Plant
 Development of Abu Haidriyah Base yard, Bonattis.p.a ,Jubail.
 Development of Fire station at Khurasaniya Plant.
 Scope includes construction of different RCC foundations with Pedestals to support
Mechanical structures and E&I equipment.
 Concrete flooring inside of the plant as per standards.
 Earth work, Asphalt work and Associated concrete works inside and outside of the plant.

As a PROJECT ENGINEER:

1- To manage the construction activities with civil-team for civil phase of works at sitein
accordanceof sow &specifications of work.
2- To mobilize the material, equipment or manpower as per site conditions and requirements as
well as respective coordination with HR, procurement, technical section, QA/QC department
etc.
3- Technical meetings with ARAMCO PMT regarding work progress, site constraints, punch list
activities or any change orders of additional job requirements. Liaisingwith local
subcontractors or suppliers and vetting of the physical accomplishment reports or invoices.
4- Raising site technical queries, review of IFC drawings &monitoring revisions, finalizing red
marked drawings for As-built.
5- Prepare new work proposals &estimates, updating the work schedule for adjustments
according to changing conditions. Review or prepare work procedures for required
6- Ensuring that all of the executed work is as per specifications and related standards.
7- Ensuring that foreman is fully conversant with planned schedule, method of work and IFC
drawings parameters.
8- Ensuring that every work is completing by considering H&SE requirement.
9- Good relationship with the client to expedite the progress of the work.
10- Updating the punch lists closures with client for final clearance.
11- Meetings with Civil Superintendent, CM to discussed detailed program of execution before
the start of work on site.

13- Advising several site issues to management along with their remedial steps to nullify the
