Dear HR Team,

I have just completed my degree (Cumlaude; GPA 3.71) in Agriculture at Andalas University. I have
experience with hybridization of local and superior national varieties of rice. My thesis was about making
superior varieties of rice which have high productivity and resistance to pests and disease. I refined my
evaluation skills when I was on a Student Exchange program based at An Giang University, Vietnam. In this
role, I learnt about identification, planning, designing and implementation of sustainable agriculture in the
Mekong Delta. I was also a laboratory teaching assistant for many subjects when I was a student at Andalas
University. As a laboratory teaching assistant, I also visited a number of company and research institutions. I
improved my technical skills in the laboratory and the field.

I consider myself a productive worker with a solid work ethic who exerts optimal effort to ensure all tasks
given to me are completed on time and to the highest standards. I able to learn new things quickly. I can adapt
my approach to different personalities. I also thrive on creating networks and have a strong ability to
communicate with people from different backgrounds.

I have good language and communication skills both in Indonesian and English. My computer skills are well
developed, including the use of Microsoft Office applications, Corel Draw, and Photoshop. I think all of these
experiences make me eligible for your job.

I am enthusiastically applying for this post because I firmly believe that a combination of my academic ability,
technical expertise and my experience during the training workshop on agricultural production in An Giang
Province and as a laboratory assistant, make me an ideal candidate for this role.
