So touch Air Presenter Beta

Trouble shooting when using with Kinect

(or any PS 1080 hardware)

1. The user in control of So touch Air Presenter is the closest user of the
Kinect camera.

2. So touch Air Presenter works better if only a single user stands in front
of the Kinect camera.
a. Press ‘Space’ when the software is running to see the Kinect
camera image and check how many users are recognized.

3. So touch Air Presenter works better if the Kinect camera is at ‘chest’

level of the user.

4. Calibration can be performed only one time per session and tracking
control can be passed in between a user leaving the active field of the
camera.

5. If you are loosing tracking control or if ‘Ghost’ blue dots appear on the
screen or ‘Ghost’ skeleton remains on the camera image, move
towards the camera with your two hands raised to make yourself
recognized as primary user again.
a. Press ‘Space’ when the software is running to see the Kinect
camera image and check that your skeleton is recognized.

6. Your gestures start to be recognized by So touch Air Presenter when

your hands are at, at least, 40 cm away from your body and towards
the Kinect camera.
a. This 40cm zone is the neutral zone where you don’t interact with
the Kinect.

7. In order for your gestures to be taken into consideration, you have to:
a. Perform gestures as net and straight as possible;
b. Brings your arms and hands back within your 40cm neutral zone
in between each of your gestures.
i. If you keep your hands moving in the active zone,
different gestures will not be recognized.

8. When converting Office or PDF documents, if you are shown the RAM
memory alert in the content manager and think that you have enough
RAM to perform the conversion, un-tick the ‘Enable memory check
(recommended)’ option in the Settings of the content manager and try
again.

9. Press ‘ESC’ to close the software.
