1. General

A. There is one task in this subject.

(1) The procedure cleans the inside and outside panes of the windows.

B. This section applies to all of the passenger cabin windows and plugs, and all entry
door windows.

C. Procedure
SUBTASK 12-16-03-163-007
CAUTION: DO NOT RUB PLASTIC WITH A DRY CLOTH. THIS CAN CAUSE SCRATCHES AND
BUILD AN ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE WHICH WILL ATTRACT DUST AND PARTICLES.

(1) Clean the outer surface of the outer pane and the inner surface of the inner pane.

NOTE: Use lukewarm water and castile soap, G01989 to clean the windows.

(a) Apply the soap solution to the window with a clean, soft cotton cloth, G50138.
(b) Clean the window surface with your bare hand only

NOTE: Your bare hand can detect dirt before it can scratch the window.
(c) Dry the window with a clean damp chamois cloth, B00106.
