THE PEOPLE'S AGENDA

The principles of the Carol A. Gordon and THE PEOPLE'S AGENDA, 2010 campaign to
represent the 8th Senatorial District in the New York State Senate are as follows:

1. Empowerment will mean to empower the voting constituency of the 8th Senatorial
District. CAROL A. GORDON is providing residents of the 8th Senatorial District with a
unique opportunity to politically give voice to their issues of concern through the
platform of an AGENDA. This AGENDA shall 'be carried to the New York State
Legislature by CAROL A. GORDON to be acted upon.

2. Education will mean to educate the voting constituency on the issues that affect them
in their respective districts. To educate the 8th Senatorial District, the campaign will use
community papers, website, television, public and private town hall meetings, and
semmars.

3. Information will mean informing the voting constituents on the issues that affect
them and organize action requests.

4. Activism will mean to make active. To organize the voting constituents for legal,
political, economic and/or social action.

WHEREAS, it is necessary to gain control over the rise in our property taxes andfees; and

WHEREAS , it is necessary to protect our children's right to an affordable and quality

education; and
WHEREAS , it is necessary to protect our homeowners and tenants from profiteers and
opportunists; and, therefore , be it

RESOLVED, that on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, Election Day, it is necessary to
