DUE DATE: In class time – Week 8 – Term 1 – Thursday 22nd March 2018
Task Description:
Students will sit an in-class exam and be tested on their knowledge of the ‘Out and About’ unit with a
focus on the following aspects:
-risk and reducing risks
-conflict resolution and negotiation skills
-decision making
-road related issues
The test will consist of multiple choice and short answer questions to be completed in a single health
period.
NESA Outcomes:
4.6 Describes the nature of health and analyses how health issues may impact on young people.
4.7 Identifies the consequences of risk behaviours and describes strategies to minimise harm
4.12 Assesses the risk and social influence and reflects on personal experience to make informed
decisions
Resources / Materials:
Students will complete this task during class time. This task is an INDIVIDUAL, closed book task meaning
students are not allowed to use notes or other students to assist during the test. Students will need only
writing equipment and a water bottle if they wish.
