 INTRODUCTION:

This work contains the study of modal verbs, progressive past, correct writing and
pronunciation applied to our daily lives.
OBJECTIVES:

- Study, understand and apply modal verbs.

- Apply what has been learned in the last progressive subject, to write past times of
our daily life.

- Describe between paragraphs the activities we did last Sunday.

PART 1: After checking the Unit 1 Topic 2: Modal Verbs, write 1
sentences using each one of the following modal verbs regarding
your daily life: can – could – may - must - should - ought to –
have to – need to- had better - would.
Example:
I must go to the doctor because I have a toothache.

1. I have to go to eat because I'm hungry.

2. I need to study more to stick my dreams.

3. I have to go, it's too late.

4. This semester I will learn more about circuit analysis.

5. I have to go home early to share more time with my son that I almost do not see.

6. I could do sport on weekends.

7. We, the students, could be more united so that they do not remove the public
universities.

8. I could work to advance work so that the weekend is with my son.

9. You could prepare a dinner for my mom who is celebrating her birthday.

10. I should eat healthier to continue training my body.

11. Every day, I wake up with the desire to be a better person.

12. I could go to a soccer school to have excellent physics.

PART 2: According to the topic Past Progressive (Unit 1: Topic 3), each student must
write 10 things you were doing yesterday: Example: I was watching a Netflix series
yesterday.
1. Yesterday I was in training in a new company.

2. I met new people at work.

3. Yesterday I left the job on the bike and got wet because it was raining.

4. I arrived yesterday from work I was at the gym training.

5. Reach the work of the University.

6. Call my son by cell phone and I am very happy to hear his voice.

7. I took my computer to maintenance because the motherboard was failing

8. yesterday I saw a series on TV called Vikings and I liked it a lot.

9. yesterday I changed the oil to the motorcycle as a precaution.

10. yesterday I visited my cousins and had a great time in the chat with board games.
