BENEFITS OF STUDYING THE LIVES OF THE PROPHETS P.B.U.T.

RasūlAllah  was commanded to relate these stories to us and so are we to others. We are studying the
lives of the prophets in fulfilment of Allah’s Command.

To learn from the lessons and wisdoms demonstrated in the lives of the prophets of Allah and to
contemplate over these.

To increase in knowledge that facilitates a better understanding of the Qur’an.

To increase in knowledge that engenders and increases love for all the prophets.

To follow the example of the prophets, who were rightly-guided.

As knowledge of the prophets raises our hopes and lifts our spirits.

It helps to chart out a methodology for da’wah.

In order to defend the honour of the prophets against lies and slander, as well as from those who raise the
status of some prophets beyond their due.

As an awareness of some of the challenges faced by the earlier nations, and to recognise how we as a
Muslim community can adapt.
