From the detail survey that we have done, we realized that during set up the total
station, it is important to make sure the bearing inserted is correct. Because of this mistakes,
we have to do several times because of our mistakes of inserting the bearing. The
coordinates will distract too when there is an error in bearing. We also aware that the detail
should not be taken double otherwise it will be messy in our plan. It will maximize our works
to edit and delete the unimportant data. So far, we will take note about the abbreviation that
we used in our detail to make it clear when we start to digitize our plan. After the data
collected is merged, we found that there is some error. Thus, there is a mistake in
abbreviation typing. Although we had some data that we missed to take it, but we learn to
correct it by using Autocad software that have been taught. After we digitize the detail, we
produce a detail plan.

Nor Azlili bt Azizul Mogan

First of all, I want to thank to our lecturer and my group member for helping in this practical.
Through this practical, I learned the importance of the way we took the detail data will effect
in plan producing. A better plan will produced when we took the data in correct position at
the site otherwise our plan will be messy and uncorrect. I will try my best to improve my skill
in making detail plan. I also aware that it is quite tough to digitize the plan when it already
transfer into Autocad. It is quite difficult because it so many data to digitize and there is a
problem when we facing the double data. At the site, the pole needs to be in the correct
position so that the height and the coordinates we obtained will be correct. I also aware that
we must take note about the abbreviation of detail data that we used. I really hope this
knowledge will be useful to me in next time practical. Thank you.

In this practical, we are measuring the detail data after we did the traverse to produce the
detail plan. We collect the detail data in the range of our traverse site including the buliding,
roads, drains, sump, staples,signboard and so on. Although I was so grateful because this
report is already done but there were many problem in handling this practical especially at the
site. One of the problem is when there is cars that block our detail to be measured from our
station. For the equipment problem, to avoid it we need to make sure the measuring
equipment like the total station, prism and poles is in good condition before doing outside
work. So that it will be easier to obtained accurate data and minimize the error. I will also
aware of the the instrument height. Once we measured the height of instrument, we need to
record it in correctly. I hope that my skill will improved through this practical.

Assalamualaikum and my gratitude to Encik Syamsul Anuar bin Abu Kasim for giving us
guidance during the learning process to do detail survey and had a much time with us to get
the opportunity to get the right results and the right data. As long as I was doing the check-
out at Polytechnic Tuanku Sultanah Bahiyah (PTSB), I was able to do detail survey more
efficiently and regularly. Along with me and the group members work in completing the task
successfully in the given period. Despite the various problems faced during the detail data is
taken, but I and my group members managed to overcome all these obstacles as an example,
obstruction by vehicles that made it difficult for observation work. I also learns many things
in thsi practical such as transfer data from memory card to the computer . After the data

 CONCLUSION

In conclusion, we had an experienced in hands on during our fieldwork in

detail survey. From the detail survey that we have done, there were so many thing s that we
have learned. We also become aware of the mistakes that we have done and we tried to
overcome the problrm and error that occured. We realized that during set up the total station,
