372 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. We
have one vacancy: Tuesday, 4-5am anyone interested please call 330-690-
9661. We have one new adorer: Paul Walpsek, thank you and May God bless
you always. Reminder to all adorers; be on time or even 5 minutes early when
arriving for your holy hour. You’re replacing an adorer who has completed his
obligation and may have to go to work, etc. Most important is that he/she can’t leave
until you get there. Our Lord cannot be left alone. We are concentrating on placing
two adorers on every hour during the daytime hours.
Twenty-Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Today’s Gospel says that anyone who aspires to greatness must become a servant to
others. God’s servants do not try to manipulate or control; their main concern is what
is in the best interests of those they serve. Like Jesus, a good Christian parent or
spouse comes not to be served but to serve and to give one’s life for others.

Catholics across the country will be celebrating Priesthood Sunday on October 28. It is a
day set aside to celebrate the importance of the gift of priesthood in the life of the Church.
It is a time for us to reflect on the ministry that our priests share with us when we gather
at the Table of the Lord – when we call in our time of need. Consider sharing a personal
note or card of thanks. Together we pray that many of our young people will be inspired by
the ministry and witness of our priests. May their hearts be open to hearing and
responding to God’s call in their lives? For more information on the priesthood, visit
