Pharmaceutical Latin Pin Yin Dosage Actions

Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 6-10g Strengthens the Spleen, tonifies Qi and

nourishes Blood.
With Ren Shen, for Qi Deficiency.
With Bai Zhu, for Spleen Qi Deficiency.
With Dang Gui, for Qi and Blood Deficiencies.
With Dang Gui, Shu Di Huang, Ren Shen, Bai
Zhu and Rou Gui, for flat sores that do not
pustulate or ulcers that do not heal.

Cx. Cinnamomi Rou Gui 3-6g Warms Kidneys, strengthens Yang and
assists the generation of Qi and Blood.
With Huang Qi and Dang Gui, for Yin-type boils
due to Qi and Blood Deficiencies especially
those that form but do not ulcerate.
With Dang Gui and Chuan Xiong, for
dysmenorrhea, postpartum abdominal pain or
amenorrhea due to Deficiency Cold of the
Chong and Ren channels.
