Dear Sir/Madame,

Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Work Placement

I am contacting you to enquire the possibility of carrying out an internship at your

company, from October 2018 to October 2019, for 12 months. More specifically, I am
interested in joining your organization through a work placement, in the framework of
the Erasmus+ programme, one of the EU’s flagship initiatives. Please note that,
within the framework of the Erasmus programme financial support is partly provided
by my home institution, the Open University of Cyprus. Moreover, there is no need for
accident insurance and health care because these will be covered by my European
Health Insurance Card.

knowledge and I will be prepared for a future career through a training
placement abroad, which will serve to broaden my knowledge and language
skills and enable me to gain experience in real-life situations with the host
company and the host country.
In addition, I will get to know and experience the work and living conditions in
another country, which will increase my individual mobility and personal
competence and also make it easier for me to fit into a labour market which is
becoming more and more globalised.
