Method
Add phase A into a disinfected glass beaker and stir well to dissolve the gum. Add phase B
into a separate beaker and heat the ingredients to 150F/65C to melt the glycol stearate IP.
Add phase A to phase B and stir gently to mix all ingredients. Add phase C to phase A/B
when cooled to 100F/40C, and stir again until it is a homogenous solution.
Properties

Mild basic creamy hair shampoo for all hair types. Provitamin B5 provides moisturizing effect
and shine, Glycol Stearate IP adds the pearlshine to the shampoo. The surfactants are very
mild and gentle to the hair.

Method
Add phase A into a disinfected glass beaker and mix the guar gum thoroughly to avoid the
formation of lumps. Heat phase B to 150F/65C and melt the ingredients. Combine phase A
and B and stir. When cool (below 100F/40C) add phase C and stir again.
Properties

The conditioners, guar gum and quaternium-87 give a smooth appearance to the hair and
improve wet comb and detangling. The surfactant combination is very mild.

Method
Add phase A into a disinfected glass beaker and sprinkle the guar gum into the water, mix
well to avoid the formation of lumps. Add phase B into a separate beaker and heat to
150F/65C to melt the peg-150 distearate. Combine phase A and B and stir. Add phase C to
phase A/B when the shampoo has cooled below 100F/40C, then stir again.
Properties
Jojoba Protein forms a hydroscopic film on the hair and retains moisture, adds shine and
lustre as well. Provitamin B5 moisturizes, adds shine and reduces split ends. Cationic Guar
gum adds conditioning properties to the shampoo. Sulfosuccinate and coco betaine are very
mild surfactants.

Method
Add phase B in the given order into a disinfected glass beaker and heat to 65C/150F to melt
the ingredients. Add the salicylic acid to the distilled water and stir well, then add phase A to
phase B and stir, when mixed remove from the heat and let cool. When the temperature is
below 100F/40C, add phase C and sir again.
Properties

The shampoo conditions the hair due to the propyltrimonium ingredient, salicylic acid has
anti-dandruff properties and glycol stearate IP adds a pearlizing shine to the product. The
surfactant combination is very mild.

Pet shampoo for dogs and cats with very mild cleansing ingredients. PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate
gives moisture and emolliency back to the hair, soy quat and guar gum act as conditioning
ingredients. Tea tree oil helps to repel fleas and ticks.

Give phase A into a disinfected, heat-resistant glass beaker and heat it to 150oF/66oC. Give
phase B into a separate jar and stir with high speed to dissolve the gum, heat it to the same
temperature. Add phase A to phase B and stir until it is a homogenous solution. After
temperature has dropped to 100oF/38oC add phase C and stir again.
Properties
This lotion is hydrating and nourishing due to aloe vera, sheabutter and urea. Can also be
used as an after-sun lotion to relax and moisturize the skin.

same temperature. Add phase B to phase A and stir. Add then phase A/B to phase C and
remove from the heat , stir until homogenous. After temperature has dropped to
100oF/38oC add phase D and stir again.

Soothing and fresh lotion-gel with the harmonizing anti-oxidant combination ascorbyl

Add phase A into a disinfected glass beaker and heat to 167F/75C, until the butters and vit.
C ascorbyl palmiate are melted, stir well. Cool to 140F/60C and add phase B, stir. Fill the
lipgloss while still hot into lipgloss containers with applicator, should the opening be to tight use
a pipette.
Properties

Liquid lip gloss with our ultrafine pigment dispersions, polyisobutene 800 is a high viscous
emollient and carnauba wax adds additional viscosity. Mica pigments can be added as well to
obtain additional color shades or to give sparkle.

Method
Add phase A into a glass beaker and heat the mixture to maximum 150oF/67oC. Remove it
from the heat. Add then phase B to phase A and stir well. While still liquid, pour the mixture
into small lipgloss pots or lip palette. You can use the lipgloss as soon as it has become solid.
* You may vary the type and amount of mica dependent on the shade and intensity you
like.

Method
Add phase A into a heat resistant glass beaker and stir well. Add phase B to phase A and
heat it up to a maximum of 170oF/77oC until the waxes are melted, stir. Remove the
mixture from the heat. Add then phase C to phase A/B and stir.
Grease the lipstick mold with little plant oil or dimethicone and then close the mold. While
still hot and liquid pour the mixture carefully but in one drive into the lipstick mold, while
pressing the mold with the fingers together to avoid leaking. Wait 2 minutes until the lipstick
has hardened. Place it then into the refrigerator for 30 minutes. If you want a different color
you can melt the lipstick again and change the shade by adding a little bit more pigments
(note: if you add too much pigments the lipstick will get dry and brittle). Remove then one
half of the lipstick mold and push the lipstick slowly out of the mold. Place the lipstick into
the lipstick container. Use a sharp knife with an even blade to cut the top off the lipstick to
give it its typical shape. To give it a professional look "flame" the lipstick shortly with a
cigarette lighter, but be careful not to melt it. The recipe (50g/1.8oz) gives about 5-7
lipsticks

Method
Add phase A into a disinfected glass beaker and stir until everything is dispersed. Add then
phase B one by one to phase A and stir well. Heat then the mixture to maximum
158oF/70oC. While still liquid, pour the mixture carefully but in one drive into the lipstick
mold that has been moistened with plant oil. Press the mold together for 2 min until the
mixture has hardened. Place it into the refrigerator for 30 min. Remove then one half of the
mold and push the lip shimmer slowly out of the mold. Place the lip shimmer into a lipstick
container. Alternatively, you can also pour the hot mixture into a lip palette or a lipgloss jar instead
of using a lipstick mold.

Properties
Lip shimmer with just a hue of color. Gives smooth and softened lips with a nice shimmer.
Contains a sunscreen (OM-cinnamate) to protect from UVA and UVB sun rays (SPF 12-15
approx.). Instead of pearl-white mica, golden mica or bronze can also be used which give
very nice shades and lustre.

Method
Add phase A into a glass beaker and heat to 150oF/65oC. Wait until the wax and butter is
melted. Remove from the heat. Add phase B to phase A one by one and stir. Fill the mixture
into lip balm sticks or lip balm jars while it is still liquid. As soon as the liquid has become
solid, the lip balm is ready to use.
Properties

Solid lip balm with natural shea butter for well-moisturized lips. Allantoin and vitamin B5
provide additional anti-inflammatory and antioxidant protection for comprehensive lip care.
The precious jojoba oil has been chosen as emollient.

Method
Add phase A into a glass beaker and heat the mixture to maximum 150oF/67oC. Remove it

into small lipgloss pots or lip palette. You can use the lipgloss as soon as it has become solid.

Method
Add phase A into a heat resistant glass beaker and stir well. Add phase B to phase A and
heat it up to a maximum of 170oF/77oC until the waxes are melted, stir. Remove the
mixture from the heat. Add then phase C to phase A/B and stir.
Grease the lipstick mold with little plant oil or dimethicone and then close the mold. While
still hot and liquid pour the mixture carefully but in one drive into the lipstick mold, while
pressing the mold with the fingers together to avoid leaking. Wait 2 minutes until the lipstick
has hardened. Place it then into the refrigerator for 30 minutes. If you want a different color
you can melt the lipstick again and change the shade by adding a little bit more pigments
(note: if you add too much pigments the lipstick will get dry and brittle). Remove then one
half of the lipstick mold and push the lipstick slowly out of the mold. Place the lipstick into
the lipstick container. Use a sharp knife with an even blade to cut the top off the lipstick to
give it its typical shape. To give it a professional look "flame" the lipstick shortly with a
cigarette lighter, but be careful not to melt it. The recipe (50g/1.8oz) gives about 5-7
lipsticks

Method
Add phase A into a disinfected glass beaker and stir until everything is dispersed. Add then
phase B one by one to phase A and stir well. Heat then the mixture to maximum
158oF/70oC. While still liquid, pour the mixture carefully but in one drive into the lipstick
mold that has been moistened with plant oil. Press the mold together for 2 min until the
mixture has hardened. Place it into the refrigerator for 30 min. Remove then one half of the
mold and push the lip shimmer slowly out of the mold. Place the lip shimmer into a lipstick
container. Alternatively, you can also pour the hot mixture into a lip palette or a lipgloss jar instead
of using a lipstick mold.

Properties
Lip shimmer with just a hue of color. Gives smooth and softened lips with a nice shimmer.
Contains a sunscreen (OM-cinnamate) to protect from UVA and UVB sun rays (SPF 12-15
approx.). Instead of pearl-white mica, golden mica or bronze can also be used which give
very nice shades and lustre.

Mix the iron oxides and titanium dioxide with mortar and pestle (the small amount of iron
oxide black is needed to adjust the color and take out some of the red color) , then add the
remaining ingredients of phase A to it and ground well. Add phase B into another glass
beaker and stir. Mix the ingredients in phase C in a different vessel. Then combine phase C
with phase A and stir to form the gel-cream. Add then phase A to phase B/C and blend well.
Finally add phase D and stir. Fill into an airless dispenser, tuba bottle or wide cosmetic jar.
Properties
Light Cream-Gel Foundation that is soft and creamy. Should measuring the small amounts of
iron oxide pigments be to difficult replace them by using our pigment blends and add between
2-4% to the recipe. Adjust color by adding more titanium dioxide to make it lighter or more
pigment blend to make it darker.

phase C to phase A/B and stir the mixture continuously until it is a homogenous cream. After
the temperature has dropped to about 90oF/32oC add phase D and stir again. At the end you
still can change the shade by adding more titanium dioxide to make it lighter or adding more

scratch it off and keep on stirring. Last add the ingredients of phase C to the phase A/B and
stir using a spoon. Fill the mineral makeup into powder jars with sifter.

dispersed. Heat phase A to the same temperature as phase B. Add the hot phase A slowly
while stirring to hot phase B maintaining a temperature of 158F/70oC until the two
ingredients are fully mixed, this takes a few minutes. Later when the temperature has
dropped below 140F/60oC add phase D and stir. While still hot and liquid fill into mascara
containers by using a pipette.

2 drops ylang ylang essential/fragrance oil
3 drops neroli essential/fragrance oil
1/2 pt (300ml) 70 percent alcohol or vodka
Directions:
Pour the alcohol into a dark bottle or jar. Add the oils and shake well. Leave for 1 week.
Homemade Hungary Flower Water
2 oz Ethyl alcohol (50ml)

Mixed with the following :
30 dr Rosemary Essential Oil
12 dr Lemon Essential Oil
5 dr Rose Essential Oil
5 dr Neroil Essential Oil
2 dr Sage Essential Oil
2 dr Mint Essential Oil
Store in a screw-top bottle and shake before use.
Lavendar Water
2 cups lavender flowers

2 pints distilled water -- boiling
2 tablespoons vodka
Put the lavender flowers into a flameproof container, pour on the boiling water, and stir
well. Cover and leave to infuse for about 48 hours, stirring occasionally.
Strain the liquid through a non-metallic strainer pressing the flowers against the sides to
extract the maximum fragrance. Stir in the alcohol, pour into bottles, cover, and label.
Homemade Ancient Egyptian Scent
1. Prepare chips of fragrant wood (and leave them to macerate) in wine.

2. Strain through a sieve.
3. Melt a quantity of fat in a vessel. Add sweet herbs (and the liquid of the wood chips).
Keep a (slow but) steady heat and stir continuously. Cool, skim off the fat and set aside.
4. Grind herbs and spices carefully.

5. Mix herbs and spices with the fat and shape into little cakes (Leave covered
overnight).
6. Place the cakes in a broad pot, (Pour water over and) boil gently, stirring all the time.
7. (Leave to cool and skim off the scented fat). Store in earthenware pots.
