As Jeni’s University Consultant in PSIII I have seen a bright talented teacher who
takes the time to plan lessons and units sequentially and has the devotion and
responsibility that comes with the teaching profession.

Jeni assumed the role of teacher immediately by handling the small daily routines
with ease. Jeni has a gift for communication and the ability to articulate. With clear,
concise explanations Jeni breaks down complex instructions so that students are
able to understand. Jeni circulates and monitors her students throughout her
lessons giving individual attention and positive feedback.

A high sense of professionalism was demonstrated in every aspect of Jeni’s

practicum. I appreciated Jeni’s thoughtful, reflective comments during our many
conversations. She was well dressed, articulate, and always ready with a smile and a
kind word.

Having worked with student teachers for over 30 years both as a Teacher Associate
and a University Consultant, I can recognize an exceptional teacher who will make a
