1. METHODOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES

1.1 Topic: Clothing

1.2 Standard:

 I understand basic information on topics related to clothing


 I understand literary, academic and general interest texts, written with a
simple language.
 I use appropriate vocabulary to give coherence to my writings.

1.3 Functional Objectives (Knowing, doing, being):

 Recognizes vocabulary related to clothing.


 Answers with short phrases the questions about clothing.
 Respects the contributions of classmates in class.

1.4 Materials and Techniques Description:


Bingo with clothing vocabulary, Youtube video, vocabulary bank,
worksheet about clothing, reading for the dictation.

1.5 Method (Método) : Learn language through engaging with meaningful content.
One big challenge, especially in the context of Soft CLIL is what content to focus
on. The more interesting and relevant we can make it to student’s lives, the
more likely they are to want to engage with the content, and the class is focused
more on the content than on the language. Using as an excuse different areas of
society and the daily life of students so that the knowledge that is being acquired
is contextualized and useful.

CLASS BEGINNING

2.1 Checking attendance:


Thursday October 25th 2018 class attendance will be taken by the teacher using the list
that the institute previously submitted ( 5 MIN)

2.2 Class Context description:


The classroom is spacious. It has fans and large windows that due to the strong sun must
be closed for the comfort of the students who are near it.
The classroom remains clean and tidy; it also has a television, a board and a desk for the
Tr. On the other hand, Ss are a little talkative but lively and willing to learn, pay attention
and follow the teacher's instructions.

2.3 Warm up: 15 (MIN)


The teacher will give the students a sheet with two almost identical images, they have
some differences in terms of the clothes of the people who are there. Students should find
them and look in the dictionary for the names of the garments.

3. CLASS DEVELOPMENT
 (50 min) The teacher will give the students a sheet with vocabulary related to the
clothes. Students should search the dictionary for unknown words and then in
groups of three they should make a dialogue in which the learned vocabulary is
used.
 (25 min) the teacher will play a video on the television that talks about the
vocabulary of the clothes, then the students should make a summary of the video in
a quick and concise way
 (30 min) Bingo will be played with the clothes. the teacher will give the students a
sheet with the format of bingo, each student has a different format, the teacher will
say the clothes when roasting and the students should go coloring the garment that

the teacher names. The first to have the whole colored sheet will be the winner
3.2 Writing activity.
 (20 MIN) The teacher will give a worsheet to the students in which they will
fill in the blanks with the names of a list of garments according to their
description. each garment has an appropriate description.
 (25 min) The teacher will dictate a text related to the theme of the class,
then display the text on the television for students to correct their mistakes.
3.3 Wrap up:
 the teacher will ask the students to make pairs, each student will
have to make a garment with materials that they brought from home,
then, each student will have to go out modeling while his partner
describes the garment he is wearing. (40 min )
contingency plan :
 students should write a story using as much vocabulary as possible about
clothing

4.1 Evaluation (Knowing, doing, being) :

 Recognizes vocabulary related to clothing.


 Answers with short phrases the questions about clothing
 Values the contributions of classmates in class.
