My International Experience
Portfolio Assignment
Description

Throughout the semester, you will be applying specific grammar structures to various writing and
speaking tasks. In order to highlight your grammar knowledge, you will be creating an online portfolio.
The purpose of the portfolio is to show your progress throughout the entire semester and to help you
develop a more analytical perspective of your grammar in writing and speaking. In addition, it will give
others the opportunity to learn more about you!

The portfolio will include a variety of topics and examples of both formal and informal language. Most
assignments will be peer revised and graded by your instructor. The type of assessment—major or
minor---will be determined by your instructor. The content of your online portfolio will be given to you
as each grammatical structure(s) are discussed in class in the form of modules. There will be 4-5
modules throughout the semester.

**Use your creativity and imagination. This is your chance to show your personality to others.**
