We are an ISO 9001:2008 certified company for design and manufacture of LT and HT busducts
ranging from 415V up to 33kV (36kV insulated level) and current rating up to 5000A. We have
recently introduced Isolated Phase Busduct

KGS Engineering Ltd (formerly Stardrive Busducts Pvt.Ltd.) is a company of more than 30
years standing and is one of the verticals of the Rs.6000 Million (USD 110 Million) KGS
Group of companies headquartered in Chennai, India in which has a 15%
share holding. The group has businesses in property development, paper,
construction, healthcare, airports and engineering.

In 1979 - Stardrive Busducts Pvt Ltd was formed under Mr. K.L.Thadani, currently Vice Chairman,
a graduate in Electrical Engineering from UK and member of IEEE. The company started
manufacturing of busducts with innovative and cost effective designs that were offered for the first
time in Indian market

• In 2010, Stardrive Busducts Pvt.Ltd. became a part of KGS Group and renamed as KGS
Engineering Ltd.

• The company decided to take the opportunity available in the power sector and embarked on a
major expansion. The company has employed senior professionals with a plan to rapidly expand
business in domestic and international market.

• With rich industrial experience of 30 plus years, KGS Engineering Ltd (Formerly Stardrive
Busducts Pvt. Ltd.) has acquired expertise in the field of busducts that are widely used in Cement,
Fertilizer, Steel, Petrochemical, Power, Ore Beneficiation and Sugar plants.

ISOLATED PHASE BUSDUCT
