T04-0102 DRFU Transmit Power

Objective:

Verify that the actual transmit power of the DRFUs meets the requirements.

Result:

PassFailNot RunZapped

Prerequisites

 The BTS operates normally, and the calls of the DRFUs are normal.

After BSC6000 up gradation to BSC6900, as per Huawei GTAC solution DRFU should be reset before TRX transmit
power testing. The reason why the DRFU is given a reset is because during the normal operation only the timeslots
that are active have the power amplifier enabled as per the power saving feature. So when the transceiver is given a
reset the time slots get idle and a burst is transmitted on all the time slots in order to exploit a DRFU’s full power
transmit capability.

Procedure A Expected result

1. Measure the transmit power by Power meter.
