6. Studies show that the difference between the tyre pressure of the front and
rear tyres of a car, X

(ii) Calculate the value of m if P( X − 25 < m ) = 0.2 .

and the others like beef burger.
Six students are randomly selected. Find the probability that :
(i) Only one student likes to eat beef burger.
(ii) At least two students like to eat pizza.
(iii) an equal number of students from each category is selected.

8. The number of landslides occurring along a stretch of highland road in a


month can be modeled by a Poisson distribution with a mean of 0.8..
(i) Find the probability that in any month chosen at random,more than 2
