TENTATIVE SESSIONS IN THE WORKSHOP
At least 15 minutes: Introduction to Proofreading
At least 45 minutes: On-screen Proofreading
At least 60 minutes: Grammar Proofreading
At least 60 minutes: Punctuation Proofreading
At least 45 minutes: Hiring a Proofreader: Who to Hire?
Participants must have at least some experience in using MS Word of any version.
TIME REQUIREMENTS
Day: Holidays and weekends only.
Duration:
At least 3 hours.
Maximum is 6 hours (3 hours in the morning for learning the concepts, 3 hours in the afternoon for
practical session)
VENUE REQUIREMENTS
Tables and chairs for a speaker and a maximum of 30 participants.
LCD projector and dropdown white screen.
Cable extensions.
Fast Internet connection.
Participants will be required to bring their on laptop equipped with Wi-Fi connection
and MS Word of any versions, with 2013’s version being the most preferred one.
CHARGES
Per hour: RM150
Transportation: RM0.70 per km from Indera Mahkota, Kuantan, back and forth
Accommodation: Upon discussion with the organiser
