This book consists of eleven chapters.

First chapter tells about definition and aim of learning.

Definition of learning is the activity to try something which unknown before.

Learning is one of the most important mental functions of humans, animals, and

artificial cognitive systems. It relies on the acquisition of different types of knowledge

supported by perceived information. It leads to the development of new capacities,

skills, values, understanding, and preferences. Its goal is the increasing of individual

and group experience. Learning functions can be performed by different brain

learning processes, which depend on the mental capacities of learning subject, the

type of knowledge which has to be acquitted, as well as on socio-cognitive and

environmental circumstances. Learning is the gathering of information. Learning

ranges from simple forms of learning such as habituation and classical conditioning

seen in many animal species, to more complex activities such as play, seen only in

relatively intelligent animals and humans. Therefore, in general, learning can be

conscious and not conscious.

The aim of learning such as:

1. To get knowledge and capability to think because it has related. To get some

knowledge we need capable in thinking.

2. Application the concept and skill. For application a concept need good skill.

3. Forming attitude
Second chapter tell about problem in learning. Problem in learning divided into

internal problem and external problem.

1. Internal Problem

Internal problem for example, low intelligence and has unwell biological. To

know about intelligence usually people follow test IQ (Intelegence Quotion) or

potential academic test, and etc.

Biological which unwell become problem in learning process because it can

influence the personality.

2. External problem

It can be the atmosphere in classroom uncomfortable, situation of learning

process lack conducive, the activity more complex so create uncomfortable situation,

and etc. If the atmosphere in classroom is not conducive so it can solve with doing

some repaired of situation and adaptation. External problem easier to solve than

internal problem.

Third chapter tells about support factors in learning success and divided into:

1. Seriousness and hard working

Factors can be supports of successful in learning are seriousness and hard work.

Success is only for people who want to get it with hard work. Try means produce the

big thing without loose something. Seriousness and hard working very related with

diligence.

2. Talent and intelligence

Other factor which can support the successful in learning process is talent and

intelligence. Talent can support capability in learning to be increase, because good

lesson plan and result for society and student itself based on their ability and it has

quality of personality or talent. The characteristics of someone who has talented:


1. Intellectual characteristic if someone who has talent she/he can be easier to

understand a lesson, has good memorized, has many vocabularies, and etc.

2. Creativity characteristic if someone who has talent she/he has curiosity,

has arguing, brave to try new one thing, and etc.

3. Motivation characteristic if someone who gas talent she/he can be a good

worker who work everyday and every time, never stop until finish, has

motivation to be better, and etc.

3. Discipline

Discipline is obedient with regulation or habitual which has been agreed to be

done. Clashing of discipline can be happened from various kinds for example, from

psychology, individual, social, or environment.

4. Method of learning

The goal of learning also based on the method which is used in learning process.

Every people have different in many aspects from physic, thinking, and ways to

responding new thing. In learning every people have strength and weakness to

understand the material so in education many method of learning to be used for solve

it.
Fourth chapter tells about increasing the motivation and learning interest. And it

consists of:

1. The relation of motivation and learning interest.

Interest is the factor which is has influence to be success in learning. In daily life

we can found someone who has high intelligent but lack of interest in science or in

work. Many people not feel enjoy in learn or in work because they dislike that.

Motivation is expectation. Expectation is amazing desire, which is wish to

realize what you want and increasing the planning to get purpose. Motivation can help

someone for better life and more enthusiastic.

The way how to create motivation in your life:

1. You should have ability in trust other people.

2. You should have ability to consider yourself.

3. You should have sexual ability

4. You should have ability to get comfortable.

2. Factors which influence the motivation.

Someone doing learn or work because there is motivation from internal or

external. Sometimes motivation give encouragement the individual or team work in

learn or work. Some factors which influence the motivation as follow:

1. First is clear aim can help someone in learn and work. Someone who has

not the aim of learning, she/he unknown about what they learn so you

should know what your aim before.

2. Second is challenge. In internal case challenge to be in the form of

difficulties in work.
3. Third is a responsibility. Commonly, every people will have stimulated

when she/he gave a responsibilities. Responsibilities can implicate with an

authority to make change or decision.

4. Fourth is chance to progress. Every people will do many ways to increase

themselves, study concept and new skill, and to create life to be better for

future.

5. Fifth is leadership for us or for other people. Leadership for us means that

someone’s ability into the right place, for the better life, more discipline,

and etc. Leadership for other people has relation with someone’s ability to

direct and bring someone for the better life, more discipline, and etc.

3. The ways to increasing learning interest

When in collage or in school, maybe someone should learning material which is

not interesting. So there are the ways to increasing learning interest as follow:

1. Think about how and why the material is very important in education or in

major.

2. Think about how a material subject relate with another material subject or

with time, place or other problems.

3. Interest based on to understand. If someone do not understand about

something so it really she/he do not interest with this. Don’t afraid to ask if

you have difficulties in your subject.

With follow the ways above, someone interest for the material can stimulate and

increased with doing learning the material subject. Learning is related with reading

because with reading, someone can exploit their knowledge. Reading interest can

increased with follow the stage of intellingence, such as intelligence of linguistic,

intelligence of mathematic, intelligence of music, and etc.
