Always Remember & Keep Faith in Allah

The purpose for man’s creation is to worship the Creator the Allah

The main purpose of the human being in this life is to submit to the will and decree
of Allah and worship Him from his first breath to his last.

Here I want to share a common narration which simulates the realities of our lives:
one day a construction supervisor standing on the 6th floor of a building was calling
a worker, working on the ground floor.

due to massive construction noise, the worker on the ground floor did not hear his
supervisor calling.
to draw the attention of the worker, the supervisor threw a 10 rupee note from up,
which fell right in front of the worker.
the worker picked up the 10 rupees note, pocketed the money an continued with his
work.

to draw the attention of the worker once again, the supervisor now threw a 100
rupee note.
sighting the 100 rupees note, the worker picket it up, put it in his pocket and
continued with the job he was doing

in his third attempt to draw the attention of the worker once again, the supervisor
threw a 500 rupee note.
sighting the 500 rupee note, the worker picket it up, put it in his pocket and
continued with the job he was doing

Annoyed And Desperate To Draw The Workers Attention, The Supervisor Picked A
Small Stone And Threw It On The Worker.
The Stone Hit The Worker's Head.
This Time The Worker Looked Up And The Supervisor Communicated With Him.

Depiction of this story is relevance as of our life.

The God From Up Wants To Communicate With Us, But We Are Busy Doing
Our Worldly Jobs.
Then God Gives Us Small Gifts, Which We Just Keep Without Seeing from Where we
Got Them.

The God Keep Showering Upon Us with More Gifts In Different Forms.
And We Just Keep The Gifts Without Seeing Or Realizing From Where They Came And
Without Thanking God.

We Just Presume That We are Lucky.

Then, When We Are Hit With Small Stones, Which We Call Problems (Sickness,
Accidents, Flood, Earthquakes etc.), Then We Look Up And Finally Communicate
With God To Seek His Help And Forgiveness.

Henceforth, Every Time We Get Gifts, We Should Thank God Immediately And Not
Wait Till We Are Hit By Small Stones (Problems). Always Communicate with God in
Prayers and Always Thank Him For All the Gifts He Keeps Showering on us. All the
Time (Air, Water, Food, Clothes, Shelter, Health etc. etc.)
If we consider our lives and

. But, when we are hit with a small stone which, we call PROBLEM(S), then we
remember Allah.
That's when we look up to pray and communicate with Him.
Allah gives, gives and forgives and we get, get and forget. Let's change our attitude.
So, don't wait for stones to be thrown before you know what to do or expected of
you. Always, always and always remember Allah. Make it a point to always say
"Alhamdulilah!!!"
To a Muslim the whole purpose of life is "ibadah" or worship to the One True
Almighty Allah. God created us and to Him is our return. This life is the bridge to the
hereafter.

Allah states in Surah Al Rehman that

Everything on earth shall perish, but the face of your Lord Full of Majesty and
Honor will remain.

This verse determines life for the human being. Good times will perish, bad times will
perish, everything on earth shall perish. However, whatever is done for God will
remain. The ultimate aim for a Muslim is to make sure that God remains their aim
equally in both times of ease and in times of hardship.

There are simple 3 step contingency plans for all times:

1. Taqwa when in Hardship

In times of hardship the door of taqwa– God-consciousness, love of God, fear of God, obeying
his commands, staying away from His prohibitions- is the door that leads us to an exit. The more
taqwa we can have, the better Allah will provide a way out.
2. Remembering Allah in Times of Ease

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“Remember Allah in times of ease, and He will remember you in times of difficulty”

Remember Allah, make du’a and do a lot of good deeds when times are well and good. Allah
will make that a means to easier times when hardships do arrive.

3. Being Grateful

Allah states in Surah Surah Ibrahim that

If you are grateful, I will increase you (in everything).

If we are grateful people, God will pour upon us more and more of His blessings.

Whether in hard times or good times, gratefulness is a character trait that helps us sail through. It
is what keeps us on our feet in the best of times, and helps us sail in the hardest of times.
