Classroom Teacher, Grade 4 August 2017 – Present
• Lead a classroom of 27 fourth grade students
• Differentiate instruction through the use of heterogenous and homogenous small groups, writing conferences, and one-
to-one instruction
• Collaborate with special education team to create individualized behavior and educational plans for students with IEPs
• Facilitate project-based learning social studies units that span multiple weeks
• In the 2017-2018 school year, increased the number of students earning proficient scores on the math CAASPP
assessment by 30%.
• In the 2017-2018 school year, increased the number of students earning proficient scores on the ELA CAASPP
assessment by 25%.
• Taught literacy intervention to 32 students individually and in groups using SIPPS curriculum and other resources
• Acted as the liaison between the RTI team and the 4th grade teaching team

• Increased 2nd – 4th grade students' reading fluency scores by an average 90% from September to February
• Facilitated daily reading, writing, and math small groups for students with IEPs and SSTs
• Provided individual support to students needing academic, behavioral, and social assistance in class and at recess
• Prepared biannual Intervention Plan Reviews to evaluate students’ previous goals and establish new goals
