PROJECT TITLE
ABSTRACT
This system is intended to reduce the possibility of risks that might occur in the supply
distribution area, especially during the delivery of goods. The Vehicle routing system will help
drivers who is having trouble finding the most effective way for them to the destination. This
application will look all possible risks that can occur and provides calculation in each street
based on possibilities obtained.
PROJECT BACKGROUND
In the supply chain management area, the delivery and distribution process focuses on
the specific route that the unit must follow from the starting to the destination point. The
determination of these routes followed by the goods delivery unit is the central part of
operationalise decision making in logistics management for many businesses. Generally, many
of decided route is inefficient when it has been implemented. The issues are lack of the
knowledge fo the route condition when deciding it. this requires a tool that can help route
selection for the distribution of goods and help take into account all possible risks that will be
encountered on each path.
PROJECT 1 STIX3913 A181
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Due to high trafic area and or some drivers do not know where is the best road to go
through from point A to point B (departure-destination). The app is able to give some option to
the driver based on risk in each route. The risk are distance, time, road surface, trafic, money,
etc. It’s not necessary that the shortest route is the better option. There would be some
calculation to determine the risk.
The problem may focus on truck or vehicle that is transporting any material, the problem
can be high trafic, driver’s behaviour or high demand from customer (material suply).
PROJECT SIGNIFICANCE
It is hoped that the proposed integrated system model will be able to determine the best
choice for route planning activities in the industrial supply chain and measure the right risk
elements. By having this model, the industry route manager will be able to plan, monitor and
make strategic decisions regarding route planning for the delivery of goods until the destination
arrives fastly, safely and smoothly. In addition, organizations can make better information about
the status of the resources invested by them. At a broader level, the proposed approach can
help enable transportation ecosystems to successfully implement transportation and
urbanization initiatives.

PROJECT METHODOLOGY
The methodology consist of six stages that are used to establish this project.
1. Analysis
There are some tasks are being completed in this step such as information
gathering related to the project, identify system description and the purpose of the
project, time schedulling when building the project, identify all the possible risk that can
occur during the development and requirement analysis.
2. Defining Requirement
After the requirement analysis is done the next step is to clearly define and
document the system requirements and get it approved from the supervisor.
3. Design
All type of system designing are happen in this step including interface design,
database design and software design based on requirement specified in Software
Requirement Specification. when designs has been completed, they must be recorded
and documented for future use.
4. Development
This is the step when actual building the application occur. Programmer is
developing the system by taking it appart, building one by one module and integrate the
components into one complete system.
Whet it is has been completed for the first time, initial testing must be performed
before the actual testing to make sure it ready for fully tested.
5. Testing
Testing is performed in this step after the development is completed and before
the system is implemented. To make sure there is no possible errors, tester must work
hard finding possible error and documenting all the issues. When all found bugs has
been corrected, the system is ready for use.
6. Deployment
When the building has completed, tested and corrected. It is time to deploy the
system to the system is ready to be used by the intended user.
