Once day a king stepped out of the gate of his palace and found a man standing there.
The man had a plump chicken in his hands. On seeing the king he bowed respecfully and said
: “ Maharaj, I gambled in your name and won the chicken. It belongs to you.

Lightning is one of Nature”s a most dangerous phenomenon. The average lightning
flash could light a 100 watt light bulb for more than three months. The temperature of a
lightning bolt may reach 27.760 0C which is hotter than surface of the sun.
Lightning is not only an outdoor hazard. In houses without adequate lightning
protection. It can be dangerous to take a bath or shower.The electric shock could be delivered
along the water pipes. There is also the risk of lightning shock being transmitted via telephone
or plugged in electronics in houses without protection. Thus, People who live in these houses
should unplug telephones, computers, and televisions during storms, protecting them from
damage in case of lightning strike. If that is too much work, it’s much safer to at least install
special socket inserts that protect again surges

Closely related to horse and donkey, Zebra is best known for its black and white striped body. In
fact, zebra stripe pattern are unique to each individual. These stripes are believed to be camouflage
device that help zebras hides well in the grass.
Plain Zebras are found on the savannas from sudan to northen Zimbabwe in eastern Africa. Grey”s
Zebra are now mostly restricted to part of northen Kenya. Mountain zebra occur in south-western
Africa with cape mountain zebra s in South Africa and Hartmann’s mountain zebras in Namibia and
Angola. Zebras are herbivorous and primarily eat a variety of grasses. The are also known to eat

Zebras as very social animal and live in large groups. A group made up of one stallion and up to six
mare and their young, while Grey Zebras comes together as groups for short periods of time.
Sometimes herds come together to form temporary groups of up to 30 members. Zebras sleep

They will bark or whinny loudly to warn the others in the group.

My school organized a trip to contryside. We planned to stay at the hotel and had
an out bond activity the following day. All students grade 9 had to join the activity.
We all gathered in the school yard at 09:00. We left for the hotel at 10.00 o”clock in
two different buses. We all enjoyed our trip. It took about 3 hours to reach the hotel. At the
hotel we had lunch and took a rest.
The hotel was situated near a forest. I suddenly saw some pine trees loaded with
pinecones at a distance. I tempted to collect some of them. So, I took my sweater and a
knife. I quickly went into the forest. I found one and two lying on the ground. I hope to find
more pinecones so I kept on going deep into the forest.
But suddenly I heard the roar of a lion. I ran at full speed at opposite direction into
the forest. Exhausted and very scared, I climbed up at a tall tree. I sat on the top of the
branches. When I look down, I saw a giant lion walked slowly toward my tree. I held my
breath. My hands gripped the tree firmly. I prayed for the lion go away from that place.
Fortunately the lion didn”t stop at the tree. He just passed by. I wait until he disappeared.
I waited for about fifteen minutes before i finally dicided that i could go down from the tree.
When I stepped on earth, I felt my body trembling. I ran away to the hotel as fast as
I could. I told to all my friends what had happened. My teachers warned us not to go to the
forest alone. That was really horrible experience. But I loved it. It was such kind of adventure.

The Flatiron buiding is one of the most famous historic landmark in New York. The iconic
twenty-one story building, best known for its tringular shape,was one of the early
spectacular high-rises that have come to define Manhattan

The Flatiron building was contructed at between 1901 and 1903 at the intersection of
Broadway and fifth Avenue, at the time one of the most prominent locations in New York
City. It is situated near madison square at the end of the Ladies’ Mile, one of Manhattan’s
most important shopping districts at the turn of the nineteenth century.
