-Moderator: Hello viewers meet again with me muto in the talk show (musaroyal) "the sorrow of the

city is the grief of all of us" this time we will discuss the rampant natural disasters in our beloved
country.

Innalillahi wainnaiahi rojiun has just happened recently in our beloved country, natural disasters
precisely in the city of hammer occur earthquake natural disasters following the tsunami.

We all as Indonesian citizens are deeply sorry for this incident. In front of me, we were present, thank
God, our speaker, Prof.annisa fadhillah, who will explain to us the earthquake that often befalls our
country.

What do you think about the natural disaster that just happened in this hammer city?

- Expert: Yes, we should grieve over the natural disasters that occur in this hammer city and we pray to
God to be given strength to the surviving families and also so that the hammer city can recover as soon
as possible.

As we all know when viewed geologically, both from existing slabs and faults, the earthquake certainly
will occur in Indonesia.

"Indonesia's territory has the potential to cause earthquakes because of its position at the meeting of
the three main plates of the world, namely Eurasia, Indonesia and the Pacific.

as for the victim died due to an earthquake measuring 7.4 magnitude which rocked the city of Palu as
many as 384 people. In addition, the number of people who suffered severe injuries was 540 people and
recorded 29 missing people from the Pantoloan Parent of Palu City.

after coordinating with various parties such as ITB, LIPI and BPPT there were two causes of tsunamis as
high as 0.5 meters-6 meters that occurred in Palu City and Donggala Regency.
The first is due to the seabed sediment avalanche at a depth of 200-300 meters in Palu Bay.

"So many rivers that flow into Palu Bay, carry sediment, deposited on the seabed, but have not been
consolidated strongly, when the earthquake shook, 7.4 SR, finally collapsed, landslides and generated a
tsunami,

Secondly, the cause of the tsunami was caused by a local earthquake, even though the height of the
tsunami was not as big as an underwater avalanche.

This area of Palu and Donggala, Central Sulawesi, is a high-risk area for earthquakes and tsunamis
because of the barada on the Palukoro fault line. the area had experienced deadly earthquakes followed
by a tsunami and caused casualties. That is in 1927, 1968 and so on.

Moderator: oh ... so ... means our country is located in earthquake-prone areas and natural disasters.

remembered my family at home and I got up to find a way out. I immediately ran out of the hotel while
holding the wall. When I was outside the hotel I lived it collapsed.
Moderator: where do you go after leaving the hotel?

- Earthquake Victims: after leaving the hotel I saw water rising from the beach I ran as hard as I could
away from the water and thank God I was just a little late so I would be swept by the sea water. After I

from this natural disaster, please Ustad.

in recent years, there have been a lot of calamities that have hit our country. From the brunt of
tsunamis, hurricane raging, flash floods, landslides, to earthquakes and broken water embankments.

Apart from all human behavior and anticipation, in the view of the Qur'an, calamities are the provisions
that have been outlined by Allah SWT. Taqdir which has been outlined by Allah SWT. As the word of God
in the letter at-Taubat verse 51:

‫قل لن يصيبنا إال ما كتب هللا لنا هو موالنا وعلى هللا فاليتوكل المؤمنون‬
"Say: Nothing will happen to us, but what Allah has decreed for us. He is our protector, and only to Allah
do the believers have to put their trust "

In this verse, Allah affirms that, every event that has taken place has been outlined by Allah. And only to
God, we take refuge.

Then why does God bring disaster to His people? People who believe and worship Him in the right
teachings and rights? Why aren't the unbelievers crushed by disaster? The answer is, because behind
every destiny, there must be hidden meanings.

Included in some of the calamities that hit us. And for our brothers and sisters who have been struck by
calamity but still alive, at least they can learn from what happened to them.

Those who escaped the disaster were people who were lucky because they were still reprimanded by
Allah SWT.

Those who escaped are still given the opportunity by God to improve the quality of devotion, faith and
life. They still had time to ask Allah SWT for forgiveness for all their mistakes and to do good for the rest
of their lives to eliminate sin.

Disasters become a reprimand for those who survive, as well as those who are far from the scene.
People who are not affected by the disaster get trials from the impact of the disaster. Those who are
sensible are obliged to help the exhausted. Those who live are obliged to carry out bodies for the dead.
Those who still have a lot of wealth, are obliged to provide food and clothing and help with all their
abilities to those who lose everything. Feeding those who are starving, giving clothes to those who are
naked and facilitating those who have lost their homes.

The Messenger of Allāh apa said, "Whoever releases the troubles of a Muslim from the distress of the
world, Allah will release his troubles on the Day of Judgment; whoever makes it easy for someone who
gets into trouble, Allah will facilitate his affairs in the world and the hereafter; and whoever covers
(disgrace) a Muslim, Allah will cover (his shame) in the world and the Hereafter; and Allah will always
help his servant as long as he helps his brother. "(HR. Muslim)

Disaster is also a rebuke from God to believers, but neglects to obey His commands. This warning from
God has often appeared through several similar events that often hit our country. But always we cannot
improve ourselves, their attitudes and actions. In fact, some of the calamities that occurred were the
result of our own actions and acts as a nation.

And if so, then God warns us to return to the right path. It is human actions that have so far damaged
ecosystems and the environment. Greedy people, always exploit nature and cause a lot of
environmental damage. A warning from God in the form of a disaster shows that God still loves His
servants and wants them to return to the path He wants.

Because, damage to nature always wreaks havoc on the warha around him, especially his small people.
Therefore, who is stronger must protect you who are weak.

Whoever has a concession must help those who are in distress and who survives must be willing to help
their relatives who are affected.

We should be afraid if it does not help, but we are capable, we should be ashamed kepad God if it does
not help the brothers distress, we're a lot apdahal have leeway. Didn't the Prophet Muhammad say,

َ‫ْس مِ نَّا َم ْن الَ َي ْهت َ ْم ِبأ ُ ُم ْو ِر اْل ُم ْسلِمِ يْن‬

َ ‫لَي‬

"It does not belong to our group, those who do not care about the problems of Muslims."

So finally, let us pray that our brothers and sisters who have been called by God in disasters in this
country are dying in martyrdom.
However, one of the purposes of Allah to enact them in disaster is to memorize them in the condition of
martyrdom.

Because those who died in a state of death fell apart, drowned, burned, gave birth, died of feeling
abdominal pain were included in the category of martyrdom, as long as they experienced the naza
'(syakarotul maut) by remaining steadfast in holding faith in Allah SAW. Amin Allahumma Amin.
