 Recognize different expressions of opinion & agreement or disagreement;
 Use the target structure by providing dialogues in the exploitation stage.
 Material(s): Cue cards and BB.

5 Warm-up
minutes -T greets SS: -T: Welcome to my class. Greeting
-T writes the following on the BB and raises a discussion on it.
“Education is very good for students at your age, in my opinion”
The teacher says. Quote
25 Presentation:
minutes - T distributes a dialogue and asks SS to read it and get its main idea. Setting the scene
Dialogue
A. I don’t know what to do. I have a headache. What is your view about this?
B. Well…if you need my opinion, I think that you need to take an Aspirin. Dialogue
A. Yes, you’re right. Thanks.
-T asks SS to look at the dialogue again and answer the following questions:
-T: What is A asking for?
-SS: Asking for help/opinion.
-T: Good, how did you know? Which expression did he use?
-SS: “What is your view about this?”
-T: Excellent.
-T: What is B’s response/opinion? Questions/answers
-SS: “If you need my opinion, I think you…….”
-T: Good.
-T draws a chart on the BB.
