Introducción

El presente trabajo individual corresponde a la actividad número 2 del curso de inglés I,

enviando una postal de la ciudad donde resido para compartir con los compañeros,

escoger una entre el grupo y hacer la presentación final del grupo.

Este trabajo obedece a la guía de estudio y corresponde a la actividad práctica de

aprendizaje para la práctica de inglés; presenta los datos personales y la fotografía de la

ciudad de Ibagué con las características de la ciudad, como propuesta al grupo para que

se debata en el grupo y se proceda con la imagen seleccionada por el grupo, acorde a la

rúbrica de evaluación.

Presentación

Nombre: José Raúl Reyes Cuellar, abogado y administrador de empresas, estudiante de

tercer semestre de maestría en administración de organizaciones de la UNAD - ECACEN.

Pasatiempo: Estudio Ingles y leo periódicos o revistas de derecho y administración de

empresas, me gusta viajar a diferentes lugares de Colombia porque tiene gente amable y

lugares interesantes para conocer.

Name: Jose Raul Reyes Cuellar, lawyer and business administrator, student of the third

semester of masters in administration of organizations of the UNAD - ECACEN.

Hobby: I study English and I read newspapers or magazines of law and business

administration, I like to travel to different places in Colombia because it has friendly

people and interesting places to meet.

Ibague City

Ibagué es una ciudad intermedia, ubicada en el centro del país, de gente alegre, amable y

sencilla, se realizan las fiestas de San juan y del San pedro. La ciudad es la capital del

Tolima, tiene 470 años y es una ciudad universitaria. Las familias viven modestamente y

con tradiciones conservadoras dado su relieve montañoso que ocupan la meseta del rio

combeima proveniente del nevado del Tolima. Su tradición es la música andina y la gente

disfruta con los instrumentos musicales. La temperatura de la ciudad es de 20 a 26 grados

centígrados y tiene marcadas dos estaciones de invierno y verano. En términos generales

todo me gusta de la ciudad porque está muy cerca de Bogotá la capital del país y tiene

buenas vías de comunicación para ir a otras ciudades de Colombia.

Ibague is an intermediate city, located in the center of the country, with cheerful,

friendly and simple people, the festivities of San Juan and San Pedro are held. The city is

the capital of Tolima, it is 470 years old and it is a university city. The families live

modestly and with conservative traditions given their mountainous terrain that occupies

the plateau of the combeima river from the Tolima mountain. Its tradition is Andean

music and people enjoy musical instruments. The temperature of the city is from 20 to 26

degrees centigrade and has two marked seasons of winter and summer. In general terms, I

like the city because it is very close to Bogotá, the capital of the country and has good

communication routes to other cities in Colombia.
