THE HISTORY AND RE-DISCOVERY OF PITONG KULOD TRAIL AND BENJAMIN TRAIL.

(THIS TRAIL WAS USED BY THE IMPERIAL JAPANESE SOLDIERS DURING THE SECOND WORLD WAR)

April 8-10 2018

A preliminary surveillance was conducted by the ISAROG RED HIKERS SOCIETY as preparation
before the actual study of the Research Expedition Team commence.

April 14-16 and April 20-22 2018

For Academic and Research Purposes funded by a research institution based from the Kingdom
of Netherlands and Federal Republic of Germany, an all Filipino Research Expedition Team composed of
Photographers and Students of Master’s Degree Program was task to conduct a study and
documentation of the Flora and Fauna, Japanese War Tunnels and the Former Japanese Imperial Army
Camp in Mount Isarog. (due to copyright law and intellectual property law other/some photos and
videos of the research team was never made for public display ).

May 5-6 2018

Trail Assessment was conducted by BICOL ADVENTURES GROUP ( Difficulty 8/9 )Rainy Season
( Difficulty 7/9) Dry season.

ANNOTATION:

The ISAROG RED HIKERS SOCIETY, The All FILIPINO RESEARCH EXPEDITION TEAM , and the BICOL
ADVENTURES GROUP never claimed that they are the first outdoorsmen to trek the War trails of Mt.
Isarog, because this trail has been existing since World War II and has been used by the Cimarrones
Tribe and Locals of Barangay Sto Nino for more than a half a century, moreover the only group THAT IS
QUALIFIED TO BE CREDITED IN RE-ESTABLISHING this trail is THE ALL FILIPINO RESEARCH EXPEDITION
TEAM and the ISAROG RED HIKERS SOCIETY ,and for the Trail Assessment will be credited to BICOL
ADVENTURES GROUP.

All claims of any Outdoor Group or Mountaineering Group that they are the one who
established or pioneered to trek this trail will never be recognize because no Person or Group shall be
entitled in this War Trails, because this Trail wasn’t made by our Filipino Ancestors, but made by our
Foreign Occupiers during the Outbreak of the Second World War.
