Organizations use strategic planning to understand competitive forces and to develop competitive advantages. The magnitude
of this challenge is greater today than it has been historically. A new competitive landscape is developing in the 21st century as a
result of technological revolution and increasing globalization and de-regulation.
The strategic planning process helps organizations identify what they intend to achieve and how they will do it. In this regard, the
strategic planning workshop will help participants to chart the way forward for the organization so that it achieves a strategic
competitive advantage over its competitors.
Participants are expected to prepare, review, analyze, study, discuss and present so as to come up with a concrete workable
plan, and also to enhance their communication and leadership skills.
Course Objective
To understand the strategic planning process through the use of tolls and case studies
