Section
2
–
What
is
ERX
in
Austria
In
order
to
work
in
the
field
of
External
Relations
as
well
as
Incoming
Exchange
within
AIESEC
in
Austria
it
is
necessary
to
understand
the
importance
of
this
area
for
all
our
local
and
national
entities
as
well
as
for
our
external
environment,
more
specifically
the
corporate
world.
The
following
statements
are
there
to
facilitate
the
process
of
understanding.
Who
are
we?
As
the
link
between
AIESEC
and
its
external
environment
we
are
working
together
on
the
development
of
AIESEC
for
external
entities.
Moreover
we
enable
AIESEC
to
exist
as
an
organization
by
providing
the
necessary
resources.
1. Every
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
shall
be
represented
towards
our
external
environment
by
its
ERX
taskforce,
consisting
of
the
ER
responsible
and
the
other
members
of
the
ERX
area
within
this
specific
entity.
Moreover
the
ERX
responsible
can
assign
the
right
to
interact
with
our
corporate
environment
to
other
persons
in
this
entity.
2. The
national
ER
taskforce
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
consists
of
the
MC
VP
ICX,
NSB
National
Career
Days
Coordinator,
NSB
National
Matching
Coordinator,
NSB
National
ER
Manager,
NSB
Regional
ER
Manager
and
MC
VP
Finance
as
well
as
NSB
funds,
conference
and
in-‐kind
coordinator.
3. The
ERX
taskforce
of
an
LC
or
an
IG
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
consists
of
the
LC
VP
ER,
the
ER
area
Team
Leaders
and
the
ER
area
Team
Members.
Moreover,
the
other
members
of
the
LC
EB
and
the
COMM.
Area
TLs
and
Team
Members
are
given
permission
to
represent
the
LC
towards
the
corporate
environment.
In
some
LCs
as
well
other
TLs
and
Team
Members
are
allowed
to
take
part
in
this
process.
In
this
case
they
have
to
be
educated
on
the
ERX
principles
and
basics
of
External
Representation
prior
to
interaction
with
our
external
environment.
4. During
any
public
representation
of
AIESEC,
members
of
the
ERX
area
must
always
follow
the
AIESEC
values
and
principles
as
outlined
in
the
AIESEC
way.
Moreover
AIESEC
in
Austria
does
not
cooperate
with
any
political
party.
3. No
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
shall
ever
enter
into
a
contractual
agreement
with
any
entity
of
our
external
environment,
if
this
certain
contract
violates
or
requires
an
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
to
violate
the
values,
principles
or
goals
of
AIESEC,
the
AIESEC
way
or
the
International
Compendium
or
the
Austrian
law.
5. If
such
a
scenario
takes
place
or
there
is
a
possibility
of
such
a
scenario
taking
place,
the
concerned
entities
shall
behave
as
follows:
1. The
first
step
shall
be
to
settle
the
situation
between
the
two
entities.
This
shall
be
done
by
the
ER
responsibles
and
–
if
given
and
necessary,
the
EBs
–
of
the
concerned
entities.
2. If
an
agreeable
settlement
could
not
be
reached
within
a
reasonable
timeframe,
then
the
situation
should
be
addressed
to
the
ERX
commission
for
advice
on
resolving
the
scenario.
3. The
ERX
commission
gives
a
recommendation
for
the
resolution
as
well
as
a
deadline
until
the
conflict
shall
be
solved
between
the
2
entities,
which
can
either
accept
this
recommendation
or,
after
the
deadline
for
resolution
has
passed,
call
in
a
tribune
of
arbitration
that
decides
for
them.
If
a
selling
violation
case
is
brought
before
the
ERX
commission,
a
summary
and
output
of
the
case
has
to
be
prepared
and
published
on
myaiesec.net.
6. In
case
of
any
other
disagreement
or
a
conflict
concerning
ERX
occurring
between
two
or
more
entities
of
AIESEC
in
Austria,
the
concerned
entities
shall
behave
as
stated
in
Section
5,
paragraph
5
(of
these
national
ER
principles).
This
paragraph
is
also
to
be
applied
if
any
of
the
principles
and
regulations
in
this
document
is
being
violated.

Revenue
Sharing
1. AIESEC
in
Austria
strives
to
have
a
transparent

common

model
that
encourages
and
rewards
the

recognized
as
one
of
the
critical
elements
in
success
of
an
AIESEC
activity.
The
Revenue
Sharing
Model
takes
into
consideration
all
the
selling

Markets
3. Every
local
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
shall
focus
on
developing
partnerships
in
its
regional
market.
1. The
national
entities
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
shall
not
focus
solely
on
developing
partnerships
in
the
traditional
Viennese
Market,
but
strive
for
diversifying
the
national
ER
operations
in
other
regions
of
the
country.
2. The
regional
markets
of
the
entities
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
are
defined
as
outlined
below
(as
well
as
in
the
national
compendium,
2.5.2):
6. In
accordance
to
the
National
Compendium
(2.5.4):
If
2
or
more
LCs
or
IGs
share
the
same
selling
territory,
it
is
just
necessary
to
consult
the
CRM
database
for
existing
contact
histories
and
to
inform
the
concerned
VP
ER(s)
or
the
LCP(s)
before
contacting
organizations
and
companies.
7. In
accordance
to
the
National
Compendium
(2.5.6):
CRM:
If
a
company
was
not
contacted
according
to
the
CRM
database
in
the
last
12
months,
it
is
free
to
be
contacted
by
any
other
IG,
LC
or
the
MC
again
(respecting
the
following
paragraph).
8. If
an
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
wishes
to
contact
a
company/organization
or
individual
from
another
entity’s
region,
it
requires
the
approval
of
that
certain
entity,
within
a
timeframe
of
1
week.
Nevertheless
a
personal
call
to
the
ER
responsible
is
required.
If
the
call
is
not
answered
an
email
has
to
be
sent
out.
If
there
is
an
auto
reply
stating
that
the
ER
responsible
of
that
very
region
is
not
able
to
get
back
to
the
other
entity
in
time
regarding
this
matter
the
LCP
of
the
region
in
question
has
to
be
contacted.
If
the
concerned
entity
does
not
respond
within
this
timeframe,
the
requesting
entity
is
automatically
allowed
to
contact
the
company.
Still
the
contacting
entity
has
to
inform
the
other
entity
about
the
approach
prior
to
contacting
the
company.
In
accordance
to
the
National
Compendium
(2.5.3):
Contacting:
Organizations
and
companies
headquartered
in
one
LC's
territory
may
only
be
contacted
by
another
LC
or
IG
after
consulting
with
the
VP
ER
or
the
LCP
of
the
concerned
LC.
9. In
accordance
to
the
National
Compendium
(2.5.5):
The
MC
is
allowed
to
contact
companies
anywhere
in
Austria.
It
is,
however,
necessary
to
consult
the
CRM
database
for
existing
contact
histories
and
to
inform
the
concerned
VP
ER(s)
or
the
LCP
before
contacting
organizations
or
companies.
10. It
is
strictly
forbidden
for
any
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
to
contact
any
company/organization
or
individual,
which
is
either
in
a
partnership
or
in
negotiation
with
another
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria.
The
partnership
has
to
be
outlined
and
more
importantly
stated
as
such
clearly
in
the
CRM.
Therefore
the
account
has
to
be
updated
within
the
CRM
according
to
the
activities
with
that
company
with
full
transparency.
If
an
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
is
contacted
by
a
company/organization
which
happens
to
be
either
a
current
partner
of
or
in
negotiation
with
another
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria,
then
the
approached
AIESEC
entity
cannot
cooperate
with
that
company/organization
without
the
agreement
of
the
other
involved
AIESEC
entity.
11. When
approaching
a
company/organization,
the
approaching
entity
shall
present
the
whole
product
portfolio
of
AIESEC
in
Austria,
consisting
of
every
local
product
portfolio
and
the
national
product
portfolio.
The
product
portfolios
of
all
entities
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
can
be
found
in
the
ERX
Austria
wiki.
12. If
the
approached
company/organization
is
interested
in
a
product
of
another
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria,
the
selling
entity
must
contact
the
organizing
entity
and
agree
on
next
steps
in
the
selling
process.
13. No
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
shall
enter
into
a
contractual
agreement
on
behalf
of
another
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria,
without
their
prior
written
consent.
14. If
a
contract
between
AIESEC
in
Austria
and
an
external
entity
involves
more
than
one
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria,
it
is
a
so
called
multi-‐entity
contract
and
has
to
be
handled
according
to
the
rules
and
regulations
outlined
in
Section
6
of
this
document.
15. The
promotion
and
marketing
materials
used
during
interaction
with
our
external
environment
shall
be
up-‐to-‐date
and
brand
aligned
according
to
the
Global
Brand
Toolkit.
MC-LC-LC
Cross
Selling
1. Exchange:
Every
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
offering
TNs
shall
sell
them
solely
to
companies/organizations
located
in
its
own
regional
market.
It
is
not
allowed
to
sell
TNs
to
companies/organizations
located
in
the
regional
market
of
another
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria.
3. Identical
Products:
If
two
or
more
local
entities
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
are
offering
identical
products,
they
must
not
sell
them
to
any
company/organization
located
in
the
regional
market
of
another
local
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria,
which
is
offering
the
same
product.
4. Single-‐entity
products:
If
a
product
is
only
offered
by
one
local
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria,
every
entity
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
is
allowed
to
sell
it
to
companies/organizations
in
its
regional
market,
with
the
agreement
of
selling
process
by
the
ER
responsible
from
the
targeted
area.
Section
7
–
Operational
Regulations
/
Working
together
1. Every
member
of
the
ERX
area
of
AIESEC
in
Austria
shall
act
transparently,
respectfully
and
supportively
towards
the
area
and
its
members.
2. Transition
in
ERX
area
should
contain
as
a
minimum
standard
of
transferred
knowledge:
current
accounts
and
status
on
partnerships,
transition
meetings
with
partners,
history
of
key
accounts,
national
ER
principles.
ERX
Commission
3. Commission
meetings
are
the
most
important
opportunity
for
ERX
in
Austria
to
come
together
and
work
on
common
issues.
Therefore
attendance
is
mandatory.
If
any
member
of
the
ERX
commission
is
not
able
to
attend
the
meeting,
he/she
has
to
send
a
letter
of
absence
to
the
national
ER
responsible
3
days
before
the
meeting.
4. It
is
also
possible
to
conduct
commission
meetings
through
virtual
communication
channels.
5. The
agenda,
the
starting
and
ending
time
of
the
meeting
as
well
as
the
confirmed
participants
have
to
be
published
to
all
members
of
the
ERX
commission
at
least
1
week
before
the
meeting.
6. An
ERX
commission
meeting
shall
only
have
legislative
power
if
two
thirds
of
the
involved
entities
(all
LCs,
IGs
as
well
as
from
the
MC
side)
are
represented
by
at
least
one
representative
of
the
local
ERX
team
(LC
VP
ICX
or
LC
VP
ER)
and
by
at
least
one
representative
of
the
national
ERX
team
(MC
VP
ICX
or
ICX
NSB)
or
a
representative
of
the
mentioned
VPs
is
sent
out
instead.
LKW
WALTER
is
an
MC
account
and
contracts
are
signed
valid
for
both
entities.
However
LC
Innsbruck
is
servicing
the
subsidiary
in
Innsbruck
and
is
in
close
cooperation
with
the
responsibles
in
Kufstein.
Processes
are
therefore
tracked
in
two
separated
accounts
to
have
a
better
overview
on
HR
structures
(both
within
LKW
WALTER
and
AIESEC).
The
regional
departments
of
Industriellenvereinigung
are
tracked
individually
as
they
are
operating
autonomously.
JEF
is
an
MC
account.
All
activities
originating
from
local
level
have
to
be
coordinated
with
the
MC
or
NSB
(Funds,
Conference
and
In-‐kind
Coordinator)
and
have
to
be
tracked
in
the
single
account
of
JEF.
JEF
does
not
have
any
local
branches
and
has
to
be
treated
accordingly.
