To be read in conjunction with existing Streamline MasterCard Maestro and Visa

Application ID
The Application ID used will be that same as MasterCard Credit card

Cashback
Cashback is supported as per emv specifications.
Authorisation requirements
As per MasterCard Credit card.
E-commerce handling
The same as Credit MasterCard. SecureCode supported.
Not mandatory for merchants to support SecureCode.
Cardholder Receipt
MasterCard’s preference is for the receipt to just state “MasterCard” no specific
requirements for Debit MasterCard. If the transaction is taken using the chip, the
receipt must display the card’s Application Preferred Name.
Functionality
Purchase at POS – standard feature available at all POS.
Refund at POS – standard feature available at all POS.
eCommerce – cards can be used in the same manner as other MasterCard (with or without
MasterCard SecureCode authentication).
MOTO – cards can be used for MOTO transactions in the same manner as other MasterCard.
Use of CVC2 is recommended, but not mandatory.
Card Technology
Debit MasterCard will be issued as hybrid cards (EMV chip and magnetic stripe both present)
and magnetic strip only cards.
Signature panel and CVC2 on the reverse of the cards are mandatory
PAN is normally 16 digits but should be set up to accept 12 – 19 digits as per streamline card
