Objective: To obtain a position as a student teacher in the Spring Semester of 2019 to continue my education
and learn from the experiences presented to me.

Experience:
Winona State University Field Experience
 150 hours of full class, small group and individualized teaching in Winona Public Schools and
surrounding districts

Practicum Placement, Washington-Kosciusko Elementary School September 2018- Current

 Supply specific instruction to students in reading, writing, and math


 Practice classroom and behavior management strategies as well as best practice instructional methods
 Attend and participate in a Professional Learning Community with fellow teachers

Direct Support Staff, Home and Community Options September 2017- Current

 Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities to gain maximum independence
 Supervise the completion of programs (i.e. Social Skills, Daily Living Skills)
 Promote the inclusion of those with disabilities within the local community

 Assist in daily living skills such as personal hygiene, community outings and cooking
 Deliver exceptional care and compassion to clients in a safe environment
