letter to someone of their choice that
they want to thank. The students will
address how they felt before and after
they were helped. I will read the book

Patricia Polacco. This book is one of my
favorites and has won several awards.
The book will help them build an
understanding for this topic. This book
will lead us into our next lesson as well.
Next, we learn about compassion.
