2018 Class 6 State Runner-Up in Arkansas Varsity Jamboree
The Varsity Vikings will get their first action of the season
Midwest Showdown @ Webster Groves on Thursday, November 15th, with exhibition scrimmages
against Logan-Rogersville, Nixa, and Republic. This year
 Saturday, December 15th the jamboree will be played at Logan-Rogersville starting
 5:30 PM at 6:00pm with Parkview taking on the host Wildcats.
Parkview vs. Republic at 6:50 and vs. Nixa at 7:30. Each
 Vs. East St. Louis, IL
scrimmage will consist of two 6-minute quarters.

2018 Arvest Classic: Parkview is once again proud to host the Arvest Classic November 29th—
December 1st, bringing in top teams from Missouri and Arkansas. The 2018 tournament will feature several
teams who will contend for district and state titles, along with several NCAA Division I players. We are very
blessed to have great sponsors who make this event possible. Arvest Bank has been committed to providing
first class accommodations and hospitality for our out of town guests and local teams alike. Tournament par-
ticipants for 2018 include local teams Parkview, Nixa and Kickapoo along with out of town teams Lafayette (St.
Louis), Jefferson City Helias, Cape Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau), Raytown, and Fayetteville, AR. Games will
begin on Thursday, November 29th at 4:00pm with the Fayetteville Bulldogs taking on the Raytown Bluejays.
The Bulldogs won the 7A West Conference in Arkansas last season, returning Sr. Collin Cooper who has
committed to play at the University of Central Arkansas next year. The 5:30 matchup will pair Nixa and Lafa-
yette, the Eagles will be led by top sophomore guard Kaleb Wofford, who is already receiving Division I inter-
est, 6’7 Trey Griffey is a top returner for the Lancers. At 7:00 Parkview will take on Cape Notre Dame. Notre
Dame will be making their first trip to the Arvest Classic, returning four starters from last year. Tyem Freeman
and Dontae Taylor were both selected to the 2017 All-Tournament Team for Parkview. The final matchup of
the evening is scheduled to tip at 8:30 between Kickapoo and Jefferson City Helias. Sophomore guard Anton
Brookshire was named to the 2017 All-Tournament Team for Kickapoo and currently holds multiple Division I
offers. The Crusaders will be led by Ben Cooper, who has committed to play at Truman State next year.
