Surterra Wellness Sponsors Mission Zero First Annual Charity Golf

Tournament

Ft. Lauderdale, FL, November 09, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Surterra Wellness, a leading provider of natural
cannabis-based products that support well-being, has partnered with Mission Zero, a Florida-based
non-profit organization committed to decreasing the number of suicides among military veterans
suffering from PTSD, for the First Annual “Swing for Vets” Charity Golf Tournament.

The “Swing for Vets” golf tournament will be held at Parkland Golf and Country Club on November
15th. Tee time starting at 9am. For more information go to http://missionzero.us/swing-for-a-vet/

Mission Zero's charter is to combat the PTSD and veteran suicide epidemic plaguing U.S. veterans
through awareness, research, education and coping programs. “As a vet fighting my PTSD symptoms
daily as I struggle to live a productive life as a husband and father, I understand the feeling of isolation
when others can't relate,” states Jose Belen, cofounder of Mission Zero. “My wife and I are committed to
ensuring that no other veteran loses hope thinking the only way out is suicide.”

Founded in 2014, Surterra Wellness is one of the fastest growing and leading medical cannabis
companies in the US. Surterra is focused on unlocking the natural health benefits of cannabis-based
ingredients and is committed to providing individuals the safest, most effective treatments. The brand
combines natural growing techniques with innovative extraction tools to develop uniquely formulated
products. Surterra Wellness is utilizing best practices in medicine, science, and agriculture to discover
and advance the natural healing benefits of cannabis.

A recent study published in Molecular Psychiatry showed that treatment using particular compounds
found in marijuana may benefit those suffering with PTSD, and that “plant-derived cannabinoids
[psychoactive chemicals] such as marijuana may possess some benefits in individuals with PTSD by
helping relieve haunting nightmares and other symptoms of PTSD.”

Mission Zero is committed to researching and introducing ways to manage the negative effects PTSD can
have on veterans, helping them to live happy, stress-free lives.
