SINTESIS

El diario de Ana Frank, es la historia de un niña judía de trece años la cual narra la invasión de los nazis en
Holanda, y como ocho personas se escondieron en una buhardilla de unas grandes oficinas, durante dos años,
desde junio del 1942 hasta agosto de 1944. El 12 de Junio de 1942 Anna Frank cumple 13 años y recibe entre
otros regalos, un diario. En esos momentos tenía muchas amigas, pero ninguna tan íntima como ella deseaba,
para poder confiarle todos sus secretos y sentimientos. Al relatar sus hechos en su nuevo diario, decide
convertirlo en más que eso y le pone el nombre de Kitty, convirtiéndolo en su íntima amiga la cual esta segura
que le guardará todos y cada uno de sus secretos. Anna llevaba una vida normal con su …ver más… Pero a
medida que pasa el tiempo (un año más o menos a partir de que entran en la Casa de Atrás) y lo conoce bien, se
siente atraída por él, hasta el punto de creer que está enamorada. Anna también se siente correspondida por el
chico, y escribe cómo pasaban las noches mirando por un huequecito de la ventana la luna y las estrellas, habla
sobre la emoción de su primer beso, la seguridad que sentía cuando estaba en brazos de él, lo contenta que
estaba, a pesar de la situación, de tener un amigo a quien confiarle todo. Estos son, para Anna, los mejores
momentos de su estancia en la Casa de Atrás. Durante su estancia allí, entraron unos ladrones a robar a las
oficinas y les dieron a los refugiados un susto de muerte, porque pensaron que los de la Gestapo (la policía
alemana), los habían encontrado, pero no era así, eran ladrones y se dieron cuenta cuando al verlos a ellos, los
ladrones salieron corriendo, ellos sabían que estaban igual de asustados que los ladrones, pero que los ladrones
los habían tomado como guardias de seguridad o personal del almacén.

of the Nazi Party and the way Jewish people had to live to save their own life. It is a story that begins in

description of her 13th birthday, where we can assume her life before the Holocaust was perfect. Then,
one day, Otto and Edith Frank, her parents told her they will move to an apartment in Prinsengracht,

sometimes Otto defended her daughter. Anne started to be criticized by her own mother, which made
her uncommonly mad and stressed. The 7 Hidden had to use their wit to finish some common tasks,
like bathing. The Frank and the Van Daan Family used a washtub in the lower floor and all seven take
turns to make use of “that great luxury.” During the hiding, some of the Frank’s friends got captured by
the Gestapo. People captured by the latter ended up in Westerbork, a Jewish concentration camp in
Drente. According to the book, it is “terrible: only one washing cubicle for a hundred people and not
nearly enough lavatories.” Men, women and children slept together. It was impossible to escape;
people usually got shaven and they had the natural Jewish appearance. The English radio reported that
some Jewish were gassed. Anne's stories from November 7 began to explain that hes mother was
better to Margot. Anne declared that she did not really care that her mother acted like that, because
she knew that Edith and Margot always supported each other. On Tuesday, November 12, 1942, the 7
Hidden decided that they had room for one more person.

triste recuerdo del holocausto nazi, una de las mayores atrocidades de la historia,
ayudándonos a conocer aquellos horrores en toda su dimensión y crudeza. Tras la
invasión de Holanda, los Frank, comerciantes judíos alemanes emigrados a Amsterdam
en 1933, se ocultaron de la Gestapo en una buhardilla anexa al edificio donde el padre
de Ana tenía sus oficinas. Eran ocho personas y permanecieron recluidas desde junio de
1942 hasta agosto de 1944, fecha en que fueron detenidos y enviados a campos de
concentración. En ese lugar y en las más precarias condiciones, Ana, a la sazón una niña
de trece años, escribió su estremecedor Diario: un testimonio único en su género sobre
el horror y la barbarie nazi, y sobre los sentimientos y experiencias de la propia Ana y
sus acompañantes. Ana Frank murió en el campo de Bergen-Belsen en marzo de 1945.
Pero su Diario nunca morirá.
