MODULE: 1 - 05 “Unit of action” TOPIC: “Personality and stereotypes”
TIMING: 5 LEVEL: Third of B.G.U. “A-B”
Building a unit of action
TASK: “Make study about stereotypes and personalities to be published on New York Time
Newspaper”.
Mission: You and your team must make a research and with all the information prepare an exposition
to be presented on the New York Time Newspaper.
 You have to investigate as much as you can about stereotypes and personalities in the way to
acquire all the information required (pros/cons/consequences on their life/facts/pictures/ etc.
 Take into account that the activity must be done in group of four/five students.
 Don’t forget to use video/camera to take pictures, posters, etc. to support your work.
 Don’t forget to present all the evidence with your report and it is possible include other people
experience or ideas.
For achieving this mission:
 You will search all the information on the given web-site below.
 You will meet people who have had experience about stereotypes and personalities.
 You and your team will have to make interviews to teachers and students. Collect points of view from
the web and make a final report (each student must have her own material researched)
 Be sure to include all the aspects, research or ideas related to the topic (use your creativity).
 You will give a report to be presented in class, using your own technological devices oral, written, also
in a CD (for your exposition) in 12/15 minutes (3 minutes per student).
Objective: Students will research topics and develop documented papers that support a thesis. A
documented paper is the result of following a process leading to discovery of information that is then
synthesized to support a focus on a particular topic through content, style, structure, and presentation.
Students must avoid committing plagiarism, (Copy or duplicated works are not accepted).
NOTE: Remember. It is not accepted reading during the exposition - It must be cancelled
